  • Ahoy everyone, just a quick update, I took down a section just behind the gate, one that I have not touched for ages, and looking back at it, I'm starting to redo it. I'm starting off with a brand new tower and starting to incorporate a more colourful pallete. What do you guys think?
    Hey everyone! I've made tons of changes to Savguder. I've redone the gatehouse itself and gave it more of a grand look, especially with the tower on the right hand side. I've moved sections to give the barbican infront some room, and I've started to work on terrain, having it so the ground merges with the masonry work in some way.

    Hello everyone! It's been awhile, starting up college and with a demanding program, it's a bit tough to find time to build and all that. However I haven't put out any build update for a good while so I'll push some stuff out there. I haven't really worked on Helms Deep since because of the servers test world is still closed, which is where I'm building Helms Deep. So I decided to work further on Savguder castle, and I'm actually happy with how it's going so far, I've planned much of the area near the keep and have started to plan out interiors. I've redone tower designs, and changed the style a bit. A lot of spires and a bit of a belgian or german aspect to it. I dunno. The palace like section is a bunch of fancy buildings with defensive elements, and then most of it is wrapped around with a curtain wall. What do you guys think of the red sandstone look? I think it adds a lot more colour. Leave your comments and thank you again.
    Hey everyone! Quick update on the HD project. The images below mainly regard texturing as well as terrain work. Enjoy!
    Working on the side-keep area of Helms Deep. Started work on a spawn. It has both the elements of the keep and the caves (more or less like Moria for example), and built in a way which it can be easily defended while having offensive advantages against the enemy trying to capture the point.
    Here's another update on Helms Deep, now with bridgework and some more
    terrain!

    Also the tower was made a little bit taller, maybe it will become a capturing point, similar to how theDarkage had the same idea.

    Remember that is the fortress section. What do you mean by the old new big helms deep? Are you referring to the current map or the one by Epic?

    I did say in the forum that the map will be smaller than the giant original, however it is bigger than the current
    Just a quick update! this is how Savguder's inner courtyard looks as of now, A lot of planning.
