Wall of text warning: This was my not-so-great day. :/
So there's this kid (his name is Alex) in most of my classes really likes to make fun of my Latin teacher, whom he has for Latin, too. It's so angering to constantly hear him laughing hysterically and pointing at her—no one should be treated like that. It doesn't help to have him in all my classes, except my art and Spanish I classes D: Plus, at the end of Latin class, he began a very heated 'discussion' regarding the geographical location of Troy; he insisted that it was where modern-day Istanbul is, which is entirely inaccurate. So, he began it with his seeming-to-be best friend. The other side of the argument was that it is in modern-day Turkey, but not Istanbul. It continued for the rest of the class, almost becoming a full on argument, and keeping us from finishing an exercise we were doing with translating Latin into English.
The bell rang for everyone to go to 6th period, and they both continued the argument up the stairs to Algebra II D: I really felt like slapping both of them for their incessant arguing. I told them to end it since it was then time for math class, and they finally listened. Later on, though, that same kid who had started it all asked me if we had been assigned Bio homework. I told him that yes, we had been. He decided that I was wrong and proceeded to argue against me, constantly telling me that I had just been imagining that our teacher had said it. I told him to ask another kid, so he did. Funny enough, that kid said that we WERE assigned homework in Bio, but Alex (refer to the first sentence of my rant to know who this is) turned back to me and continued to argue, so I told him to leave me alone. A couple minutes passed, and he decided to go against me again, saying that I would be "much happier if I had more friends within the school" and that I was angry—I was extremely annoyed by then since he was seemingly attacking me—so I continued to tell him to shut up (in a much nicer way) and leave me alone, but still, he persisted. What really bugged me was that he had the nerve to attack me in front of several other people, including my Algebra teacher. He said,"Oh, you must be angry about not doing well on the Bio quiz.." to which I responded,"No, I got an A+ on that quiz. I am not angry; please, just leave me alone." Of course, this kid refuses to do just that, and it continued back and forth even after the bell rang to go to 7th period (last of the day). I finally ended it with saying,"This is my life, not yours."
So.... I'm sorry about this really long wall of text, but I kinda needed to warn people that I'm not exactly in the best of moods today, due to this kid and the rest of my Global Studies class (they were making fun of my Latin teacher right before my history teacher walked in to begin teaching us). Just beware.
