In the film, the armies are as follows: Men from the Lake Town under Bard. Elves from Mirkwood under Thranduil. Dwarves from the Iron Hills under Dain. Orcs from Dol Guldur, under Azog. Orcs/goblins from Gundabad, under Bolg.

I guess Eagles weren't counted in the books- For in those they counted Elves, Humans, and Dwarves, but split the Orc army into Goblins as one army, and Wargs as the other.

Noo... they split the orcs into Moria orcs and Gundabadians (as r3cry and I lovingly call them). By the way, "humans", "elves", "dwarves" and "orcs" are all not spelt with capital letters, as they are "normal" nouns and not names / titles.

Bolg is actually the guy who leads the orcs into battle in the book lore, though I think he is only mentioned once in the actual book "The Hobbit".

I remember it being humans, elves, and dwarves vs orc life (includes Goblins, Wargs, Orcs.) and Bats. Thats 5 armies I think.
