No offense intended, but... Steam is almost always on sale. There's Summer Sale, Halloween Sale, Christmas Sale, Winter Sale... basically, you shouldn't buy your game at the end of September, between Halloween and Christmas and in spring. Steam is on a Sale the rest of the time.
