Time to rouse the rabbles.

Those of you who remember the glorious days of Titan_Kronos (what is dead may never die) will recall what his RP vision was - a fusion of rulers and heroes, commanding armies, leading nations, and adventuring across the lands of High Fantasy.

That is the vision I have for this Warhammer RP as well. You are not just leaders of very unique and interesting nations, you are also powerful heroes - warriors, wizards, and more - who will wander the world questing and changing the course of nations.

If, hypothetically, an RP server opened up, what kind of map would you guys want?

From past experience, I find the best thing is a small map with three pre-built cities that can be modified/added on to. This way thousands of factions don't form, but you don't get bored in a doll's house. Small because then people are closer together, promoting RP. This is also helped by the small number of cities/realms.

Another idea would be one big city and some surrounding countryside - a sort of Venice or Naples or Paris.

Do you guys like just humans, or are other races cool? What kinds of races? Dwarves? Elves? Halflings? Gnomes?

Thanks to Europa Universalis IV's blank province map, and MS Paint, I have managed to compile this political map, detailing major powers as of 1212 AD, the height of the Middle Ages. I'm sure some of you remember the Great War Campaign. Perhaps a more fast-paced, Medieval one, spanning into the future perhaps as far as the 19th century? Also calling on Medieval history buffs to help me co-admin this if it happens. Or, if you prefer a different time period, such as the Age of Exploration or The Great War Mk. II, feel free to suggest it.

Would anybody be interested in a Kingdoms RP - Warhammer?
Or, conversely, would GamerAced or any others be interested in a Warhammer wargame online?

Update on the guild thing:
Riko and I will be playing Neverwinter whenever, if anyone wants to join.
Our LOTRO group contains (I think) Antzorg, Olex, Kordian, Toby, and Dyl.
Titan_Kronos (!!!) and I will be playing SWTOR on weekends and Monday/Friday evenings if you care to join us.
I also now have LoL for all you fans.

My team just got first place in a QuizBowl tournament.

So far we have some people interested in LOTRO and SWTOR, also LoL and TF2!

I'd like to make some sort of MMORPG/other MMO cross-game guild. We'd play Neverwinter, Lord of the Rings Online, Guild Wars 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Everquest 2, whichever you like! We might even branch into bought games (these are all FREE TO PLAY, you guys) like World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and Elder Scrolls Online. But if you're hard up or any of these games aren't your cup of tea, no matter! You don't have to play them.

I think this would be a really cool way for us to keep in touch outside of Minecraft and/or online play-by-post roleplaying, as well as allowing us to have a ton of fun along the way.
