Also advice about government this is around the year 1500 not modern times so they have some different ideas about government (Like democracy isn't much of a thing yet excluding like a few merchant republics).
I should clarify some governments had ways to vote. Like the Princes of the HRE voted for the Emperor, Men with land could vote for the Doge in Venice etc. But there was no representative democracy as we know it today. I know I'm a political/ history nerd.
