It's rightfully theirs. It belongs to them. They will regain all their rightful lands, and just hope you aren't alive when they rebuild the temple.

I don't know what that is

Hed, haven't I brought up so many weird subjects at this point that nothing would seem weird anymore?

They are one state. Just like the One-China policy.

Did you Know that my Great Uncle worked for NASA and designed the self-guided missiles that Israel use in defense? Yeah, fun fact :3

Having a sweet-talking and/or smexy negotiator can always make the impossible possible.

I watched a documentary about the Israeli settlements in Palestinian territory and thought it was hilarious af that the government keeps destroying one house at a time real slowly to "show" that they disapprove of the settlements.

It's not possible to keep as one state at this time unless the goal is to keep violence. After decolonization of The Middle East the West fucked over everything by keeping arbitrary borders they made. If the Palestinians say they want independence they should be given it, same thing with Kurdistan and any other place with major popular support for independence. In history the people fighting against populism will go down as the bad guys here.

"It's rightfully theirs." It's this kind of arrogance that caused the problems there in the first place. It had been centuries since it was their land. That's like saying Europe should be given back to Italy because it was part of the Roman empire.... Just because some kind of ridicules "holy book" specifies a place as promised land, doesn't mean that the people who follow that belief may actually claim that land forever.

To be fair, the same could be said of the Palestinians not really "owning" the region as their very presence is more-or-less the result of Arabian and Turkish conquests.

I am of the opinion that the Palestinians should simply fall under the control of Israel. I'd prefer more territory for a known ally as opposed to more territory owned by a group with a government of questionable stability that (based on what I've seen and heard) has a decent population of people who aren't opposed to a holocaust encore performance.

As mean as it may sound. Right of conquest is an actual thing. If you succesfully win a war and conquer a piece of land, it's yours. If you want to give land, you'll always need to keep going. Give america back to the native americans, etc. It's no use to linger in the past, they took the land long ago, it shouldn't be blamed on the current generations, as they had no part in that.

Regardless of what you think, it will be restored to them. May be this year, my be a hundre years, may be a thousand. Just hope you aren't there when they rebuild the temple

So Israel isn't the good guy because they are bombing the people who bombed them first?

No, because the Palestinians happen to be Muslims. Hence, they get a free pass because of "muh tolerance" and witch-hunts for "Islamophobics" all over the place... Actually now that I think of it, that kind of makes a lot of supporters of Palestines anti-semites...

Magik asked us for our opinion. Replying on one of those opinions with "Regardless of what you think..." is stupid, as you're basically saying you don't want an opinion but fact.

What are you guys even talking about? I'm not saying that the palestinians are "the good guys" either. Both sides have done just as wrong things. This has nothing to do with religion. I have no tolerance for anyone who use their religion to justify violence of any sort. Not christians, not muslims, neither jews. Any type of violence is never acceptable, and religion doesn't give someone special rights. All that I am stating is that often the only side of the conflict being shown is the pro-Israel one, while the conflict is much more complicated than that. I've read a bit about the things I mentioned, and I agree with the United Nations official statement that those attacks were wrong and not justified. They were bombing a school. Not a place housing terrorists or people who shoot rockets at Israel. Killing civilians and children is NOT "bombing those who bombed them first". That's terrorism. The same way Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel is terrorism. A conflict never ends by seeking revenge or debating who started. I don't know who shot first, and it doesn't matter. If Palestine keeps shooting rockets at Israel, then Israel won't stop fighting back. If Israel keeps on attacking Palestine, then Palestine won't stop fighting back. It's all a catch 22 and the only way out of it is that one of the sides stop.

You forget that Israel happens to be a nation that's actually friendly to the west with a stable government whereas Palestine is populated by anti-Semites who are only there in the first place because of Arab conquests back in the dark/middle ages...
