Operation Defrost The North is put into effect. Greek Fire will cover a massive line in the north to protect against the winter storms from coming. Along with massive bonfires. This is not our first winter is the cry.
The wall, slowly sliding south is not slowed by the Greek fire. As the fire bursts on it, large chunks of ice cascade off the edges. This is not the first winter, but it may be the last.
Qarir offers its hospitality for any Muscovites desiring to escape the Wall. Large makeshift villages (the closest thing I can think of is a Hooverville only they'd have ample food and water and all that good stuff) are erected in the less populated areas of Northern Qarir for any who accept.
Support from the Katipunan arrives. All the troops are the Black Flame of the Sun units, with their hammers and stockpiles of flammable oil. Their hammers are covered in oil, already ignited. "Lets show them how to look cool with fire." They smash the wall repeatedly, sometimes oil sticking to the wall, setting the wall on fire from the hammer. Meanwhile, above the glacier, Himalayan and standard angelic air force gliders spread their oil on top of the wall, then dropping a small torch on top of it.
The hammerers are swallowed by a large chunk of ice which they broke off. The monolithic ice shard fell upon them, killing those hammerers instantly. The gliders discover that the Glacier runs all the way to sea
The remaining hammerers retreated. They have done enough work, the fire on the wall still remains. As for the gliders, that's not very useful to them since the ships have already noticed, and continue burning the surface. Now goes phase two, dropping man made lava, or just some very hot ass stones, after each pass.
A message is sent to the prince, telling him that the south is ready and he can start the transformation of citizens to the protected land of the south
What about Vladimir the 2nd wanting to sacrifice himself? And plus if I slowed the ice down a shit ton and yet it seems to already be extremely far down south? It takes glaciers millions upon millions of years to move.
