The thing is my mom isn't gonna keep kosher so it'll be impossible to keep that part. My parents aren't very favorable towards Judaism in general.

well here i can help you kasher= no pigs, sea fruits, snakes, bugs, lizards, owls, bats, man flesh and blood. also dont eat meet and milk together because its the root of evil eating the meet of an animal with the milk of its kind. you can eat meet from a plate that used for dairy food as long as it have been washed between the two meals (you can eat meet after milk if you drunk water between). the kosher meat is not a problem eather because the only reason that there is Shechita kshera, is to kill the animal as quick as possible and with less pain as possible, a thing that happen in most places in the world because of animal rights and stuff. (kosher food is basicly a way to: kill the animal fast and with less pain as possible. not eat food who can couse you sickness and respect the animals)
