He was pretending to be some innocent girl that wanted Instagram followers so he gave me a fake Instagram he uses to get possible contacts to send his fake imagery to.

Unless there would be insurance money for you to claim, I wouldn't even bother filing a report. Based on personal experience, crimes just aren't solved these days anyway...
