No, the equator is farther away than our land, besides in India. They may be a bit hot, but they study medicines and other ways to stay healthy. Some would use iron or leather to make it so they aren't boiling, but would use steel weapons, while others can take the heat and use steel armor.
1.You don't have Greek fire, you are not Russia anymore 2 . That's power gaming, their army is now in a mood of suicide, they are fearless and will fight till death.
Thank you, it would also be a bit catastrophic for these l to unfold the land and tons of elephants and rhinos to call on top of them, wearing siege equipment and steel armor.
Actually, those 23,000 soldiers had all the weaponry from Old Russia. Did you not read craft's post not that far down? You're army would be burned to death. Especially your soldiers in such thick armor.
No one can take 125 degrees weather. You're in the steppes. They're is nothing for miles and it's blazing hot in summer. It doesn't matter if we're near the equator. It's hot in the steppes. Normally, a steppe summer is 104 degrees F. It's 125 degrees F EVERYWHERE. You're men would be cooked in even leather armor. Leather keeps in heat.
Kye they would die, you can't have enough water o give them to survive the journey to the Himalayas. What I think is this: the qarir attack, catch the Himalayas by surprise (attack from dying nation?) They send in their calavery to slow them die. The calavery deal massive damage but still loose, they try to retrieve but the qaririans slaughter them. The Himalayas then use their Greek fire but because it's a mountain the oil just whip down and hardly hurt the qaririans. The Himalayas use their ranged units which deals massive damage but then the qaririans gets to melee range. They are outnumbering the Himalayas and soon take them out. Every Himalaya's soldier took 3 qaririans soldiers before he die. The Himalayas loose the battle and the qaririans win the first battle but with a heavy loose
Who said anything about thick armor? And that is a double-edged sword, m8; the heat is not selective. It would invariably affect your troops just as much as Qarir's. Furthermore, legalizing nudity awhile back means that though casualties among desert-dwelling Qariri are high, it isn't nearly as high as in countries where their citizens are forcibly fully clothed. Soldiers really only wear their armor while on duty. Furthermore, the armies snatched as many supplies as they could muster before disembarking which means ample food and water to drink and cool down with.
My men are fairly used to it. They are wearing very loose clothing that is white. They've lived in the steppes forever. They know of the water holes to cool down. They're dying to, but not as much as your men.
We have a large water supply, which would most likely be evaporated by now, but would have them in an area that wouldn't be too effected by the heat. Each soldier would have a water container.
