Can somebody plz explain to me why it's bad to like your own posts? I don't see anything morally wrong with it, and I'm not hurting anybody or somehow making myself better than others. What is bad about it?

Favorite villain from any book/movie/comic/anything? Plz put what that villain is from, too

1 more point when you know you've won an argument. When your opponent begins to correct your grammar, spelling, and minor errors. Also, repeatedly saying "you've lost" or "I've won" before any real arguments have been made is a sign of a lack of proof for ones own claims

Arguing 101

Player 1 makes a claim, then provides evidence to support it

Player 2 provides evidence against player 1's evidence, or forms a claim which proves player 1's claim incorrect

Player 1 then repeats what player 2 did, and this continues.

You know you have won when the opponent says any of the following: "nevermind, you are right"
"I apologize, I was incorrect"
"Your a fucking idiot" or something similar, in attempt to insult you. Insults is how someone who is dumb, who doesn't know what they are doing, can't read, or doesn't know what logic is, says "I'm wrong"

Explain to me this:

I state that most Muslims are peaceful, but obliviously follow a religion of hate, then provide statements from the Quran to back that statement up. All of these scriptures from the Quran were translated to English by Muslims.

However, it is believed that I am stereotyping all Muslims based on Jihadists. How is this so, when I made no mention whatsoever of Jihadists?

Many Muslims are peaceful people, by does that mean Islam is a peaceful religion?
Many "Christians" are not really Christians, so in the same sense Christianity isn't Christian, if you believe Islam is peaceful because of peaceful members

I know some very kind Muslims, but that does not mean their religion is peaceful. They are simply misinformed and trapped in tradition

When I was growing up, my Pawpaw (grandfather. Dads dad) always told me, my brothers, and my cousins little bits of wisdom and knowledge. One which he told frequently was "always respect a dirty handshake"
When I was younger, I never understood what he meant, but never did ask. Now that he has passed away, I actually understood what he meant.

Before they chose the final design for the Mouth of Sauron, they had some pretty scary sketches. Some had the mouth vertical on the face, with the teeth on the left and right instead of the top and bottom. Some others featured a helmet wth giant hooks which held open a lipless mouth... Either way, the final design was pretty cool. Sadly, we only see him once in the extended edition, and he died shortly after. One of the Coolest bad guys, killed too quick :disappointed:
