Actually, the creation of israel caused terrorist groups to exist en-masse in the first place, as it pissed of muslim people that their holy territory is given to some pricks just because they've been bullied by a bunch of germans. So the muslim people got angry at the jews and vice versa, but since after the endlösung jew-hating was no longer considered cool, the new cool kids from the west decided to interfere in near east politics, pissing off islam in the middle east. Also, oil. So then islam turned against the west as well and radical islam was born and became dominant in many countries throughout the cold war.

Hey, lookThe fact that Israels society has better standards or that it´s a democracy is completely irrelevant when it comes to the terrorists. All they see is their holy land getting occupied by foreigners and they are not very happy about it.
