*that moment when you make the best tale ever and are about to post it when it is completely obliterated by death posting a "?" To a very obvious writing competition*
Since death completely erased my previous history, here is a short summary: Dwarves are secretly the villains of this land. Trolls are slaves to them and build fantastic machines for them to conwuer others. Men were once a great kingdom with racial freedom but fell to dwarven machines. Karth are related to men and elven breeding and wish not to help in men's wars. Elves are rather oblivious to all the events around them and only focus on making grand cities and materials.
A long, long time ago, when the sun was still non-existant mind you, there walked the Old Gods. Now, these gods were the purest beings, all of which made of light. They were quite literally the light in the ever-reaching darkness. These beings, wanted to create life upon a rock with apparent potential for virility, and thus they did. Combining their powers, and a small bit of their selves, they created the sun, the first light. When they created it, their power rocketed out and created what would have been a bang, had there been sound. Yet, there was not so there simply was a large amount of lights appearing where the bits of power settled, but not in a flash of light for that did not exist either. Then, the goddess of earth and the good of heat created many lumps of what they would name Roaerk (rocks, but it means Earth in this context, pronounced ro-erk). They created a massive rock, and from it, all others were split. Now, some were vaporized from the amount of power, created giant clouds of gas held together by a tiny nucleus of rock. Norak, god of all the waters, split the rock that this planet now is, creating large bodies of liquid and he named them koriks (or in our language, oceans.) The liquid itself, was named korikas (water). The korikas was essential to life, or so it seemed as life green around the edges. Alas, they noticed only near water did it grow. So Norak created large and small streams of korikas. The large ones were named rikas (rivers) and the small streams norkas, so that all were reminded of the God when they saw small streams or creeks. Pools of korikas, were named rinork (lakes and ponds) and thus, Norak rested, his job completed. The next god who stepped up was Fiernn god of heat and flames. He saw how the water supported life, but he also saw how they died from a lack of warmth, for the sun at the time only glowed, and it glowed always. There was no night, nor rotation of the planets. Fiernn blessed the sun, and he named it Luzfueg. (the sun, roughly translates to light-heat bear
(goddamn spelling) Justia (spanish j) goddess of order and justice took a look and was unhappy. Yes, the creations were wonderful but there was no order. Half of the living creatures would die from cold or heat. So, she set the earth upon an axis, spinning it so it would get the correct amount of heat. The day was named Diaz and the night Nocht. Yet, she saw it was still not rightly so, as the night had almost no light. So, she took a smaller rock and imbued it with lesser power of the sun, with only a glow. She named it Seldiuna (moon) and it balanced the suns hot rays, with a cool shine. She set all the objects then, in the universe on a path, with the Roaerk spinning around the Luzfueg, and the Seldiuna around Roaerk. With order placed she created rules and laws for living beings, creating physics and all other sciences, as well as natural laws such as morality. She also created cycles living beings ought to follow, named Viv and Mort (life and death). Having the universe organized she too, rested with the finished gods. Now, Justia had an opposite. He was her twin, the embodiment of entropy and chaos. Desor was a most mischievous god, and he created chaos and entropy to counteract her order and balance. When doing this, he accidentally knocked the planet on its side slightly, created the seasons, which he named: solead (summer) when the luzfueg shone brightest on that half of the roaerk, aurun (autumn) for when the seasons shifted for the colder on one half, frieg (winter) when luzfueg shunned that half of the roaerk most, and primgeren (spring) for that is when the first signs of life ought to return. His chaos is what created the first dark matter, and began the formation of the second wave of gods, the Dark Gods, unbeknownst to them. Thus, with order being not perfect and giggling quite a bit, he went and rested, teasing his sister. Arseign was the 3rd to last god to step up, and the last god in the quantic triad. (Justia, Desor, and Arseign) he was the god of time and space. Using his power, he gave
Next, the last two gods stepped up together. They were close, but the Gods were not like you or me, as they had nothing but familial relations. They were however, the closest 'brother and sister' of the group other than the twins. They were Tierr and Verilla; god of earth and goddess of life and virility respectively, and they always worked hand in hand. Using his power, Tierr created the hills and the plains, the rough jagged mountains, and formed landscaping on Fiernn's cones, naming them; vulkrots. (volcanoes). When the earth had been shaped and formed like wet mud, Verilla spread her arms over the roaerk. Her love spread out and wherever it landed or she looked, life grew. She and Tierr spent much time creating the living beings, he created their earthen shells, and she breathing life into them softening them into flesh and bone. Thus, they and the others named them. And the Gods finished. Many civilizations were created, and among the greatest were the indigenous Kreinstarkk who were among the closest to nature and the wonderous Elvenkind, who set out to conquer, but not the Earth, for they were glad with it, no, they set out to conquer the arts. Everywhere, beauty and arts sprang up, wherever the elves laid claim. Yet they were not heartless to nature, only far less connected than other races, among them the Kreinstarkk. This peace was not to last. (okay, creation? Done. Ok, next part will be soonish.)
Roaerk, Luzfueg, and Seldiuna places. He gave each and everything a place in the universe, and how space and matter ought to interact, creating the 3 states of matter as well as a 4th, most wonderous one, named Prasu (Plasma). He then created time, a measurement of the cycles Justia created, and the length of which Desor's accidental seasons were. Time determined how long mortal things were to last, yet he and the other Elder Gods were excluded. Thus, he rested, his work done. (2 more! Sorry, this is kinda long but it's sorta setup for the history/religion, call it... MYTHOHISTORY.) (from part 2)
