Would you rather have it x10 worse? People are just gonna have to deal with civilian deaths if they ever want to get rid of ISIS. A new government in a massive civil war would completely ruin the entire Middle-East.

Let me point it out like this, each leader only cares for his own group.

Does that make him a "great guy?" He's a cruel dictator who's using the most inhumane methods to keep the syrian population from overthrowing him. There are worse factions than the syrian government in the middle-east but i'm sure it would've been less complicated without him.

He's not a great guy, if you can't deal with civilian deaths, I don't know how you'd ever join the army.

i dont get the connection but you are sort of right. I mean, they had X3 more troops then israel yet they somehow lost in war against a bunch of untrained holocaust survivers.
