Debt can be restructured, and I'm pretty sure the loans given to the U.S. are quite flexible in terms of when they need to be repaid. The part about America not being a rich country but rather a country where many rich people live is half true I suppose. The wage gap is absurdly huge, and a lot of people live miserably, but if you're talking country per se then it means everyone, and when you even everything out it comes out pretty damn well.

In the US, the only "miserable" people are those who buy whatever they want. They have no understanding of what want is. As far as I'm concerned, I'm the richest man in the world. I don't need money and such to be fulfilled. That's what it means to be an American, really, you have freedom to live as you do, and you can be happy with it. I know homeless who are happy, and rich who are completely miserable. I also know miserable poor and happy rich. You have the freedom To have any outlook on life you want. Freedom to choose your view on life and what it means

I agree with the riches do not determine happiness part. Sorry, in Spanish "miserable" can mean extremely poor as well, so I just went with that. I meant that there is a huge disparity between the richest and the poorest in America.

America is in debt for more than 20 trillion. No, they are not rich. Even though America can ignore all the debts because of their military force I guess that they won't do that because no one will loan them money.

Disparity means an absence of parity, or equality, so it's not that strange. Misery is a little weird, though not that hard to understand; Western society values money a lot.
