15521620 The NS-period in comparison to Rome is 1) far shorter, therefor leaving tremendously less to study 2) (partially due to 1)) much less diverse in terms of events, politics etc., therefor has much less potential to be interesting 3) (this may only apply to some European countries, but I doubt it) much more addressed in normal school history classes, leaving you with a lot of knowledge already and not that much to explore So while Nazis for sure are fucking interesting (for me, especially their Ideology, because they are basically Norse but with advanced technology which is insanely cool), they aren't really great to study further as opposed to Rome.
Also 9121890 - good man. Do you watch Metatron? And are you also into medieval history? I am quite a hobby-historian myself, so maybe we could recommend some books and channels to eachother
I haven't watch Metatron, what's it about? And yea, I'm into medieval history, history has always been a favorite subject to me. Some good channels would be Historia Civilis, Bazbattles, Kings and Generals, documentaries, and sometimes series, although they may not be very accurate, they represent some good things too
Read books, documentaries are one-sided. They use German propaganda reels to show German soldiers. See, in America, they barely go in depth about this time (compared to the Romans which I find beyond boring, American schools are ridiculous about the fact that they were so big and we were influenced by them; same with the Greeks). I'm doing college tier mil. hist. Also, you scum of the Earth! You've never watched Military History Visualized or Bismarck?!?!
