Isn't there a better and cheaper way? Deporting everyone just to import people back in 'legally' will lead to loss of life, loss of fortune and loss of quality of life. People that are being threatened with deportation may have stable jobs or even run small businesses. This will hurt the USA's economy. Not that you care about hurting your economy, evidently, but maybe some of you still care about not killing people.

We are not deporting everyone, not even close. But I know all too well that leftist media outlets blow everything we talk about out of proportion.

Everyone as in people currently classified as illegal. Not your entire population.

Illegals that either have criminal records, don’t pay taxes, or don’t comply with registration will be deported. A path to citizenship will be developed for illegals willing to comply with registration, and want to be Americans. This proposed by democrats, however they do not apparently see any value in so much as enforcing existing border laws, and could let in anyone. We are keeping families together, family members with DACA qualifying dependents would be protected. Most illegal immigrants will have the opportunity to become citizens. We have increased border resources and authorized the enforcement of immigration and border laws, we’ve begun the process of cleaning out illegal criminals and gangs. People who refuse to follow along with the developments and don’t want to be documented will be deported eventually. Current legislation is mostly based on previous administrations and the path to citizenship that democrats want is not currently in existence, and neither is our administration’s border wall (at least not nearly at the capacity we need to be effective). These are things we need to work together on and democrats just recently attempted to sabotage the agenda, resulting in the administration backing down and resulting in the shutdown, it was a trap. Now we have a deal to at least keep the government running and we are working on a deal that does not diffuse our agenda to create secure border to prevent further destabilization. Preventing further illegal migration (at least most of it) and creating a way of documenting current illegals will hopefully make much progress to solving to problem of illegal immigration, and it will make it easier to root out the criminals that should not be here to begin with. However, I doubt most leftists will be happy, because many of them liken the enforcement of general border laws to nazism, and the subject of illegal immigration is taboo, and there is no distinction and if you have any sort of problem with unlimited illegal migration then you must be racist. completely unreasonable and I see much more prejudice and bigotry from them than I do from supporters. So instead of deporting everyone, there will be a plan to turn illegal immigrants into legal ones, able to become citizens. This is actually a good idea from democrats and they areright that it will be easier to root out the criminals and (some) admit that necessity. We will still end up deporting a lot of people, but definitely not anywhere near 12-15 million undocumented immigrants. But I wonder, do democrats really care about these people, or are they interested in the idea of further inflating their support base, and despite out willingness to work together, will they continue to sabotage the agenda? Remains to be seen, and they have a public advantage with the unrelenting media slander and the growing prejudice of leftists across the country. Even if we get good things done, we will probably never get credit for it.

As for the current economy, the prospect and application of legislation and executive action to increase the practicality of reinvesting in domestic industry has brought stock markets up, which is what would be affected first before anything else as stocks can change overnight. The GDP is growing faster than anyone predicted. Small business need help by way of tax reform, but I cannot say I fully support what republicans are likely to do with out tax plan, and if I do not pass it, then we have nothing, and democrats could take over. If they do, will we work together, or will they try to oust the donald, and put Pence in :joy:. We shall see, probably. Democrats will probably be obstructionists at least and if they try to completely undermine the agenda, it will take the efforts of a minority and the executive office to keep it together. We can still get our tax reform done right, as congress will not want to lower their ratings for midterm elections this year. If anything goes wrong, the media will have more slander, and if it doesn’t they will have backup plans for the slander campaigns.

i'm not disagreeing with u so dont get the wrong impression ^ ( i'm not siding or defending that judy lady either, i'm just sayin) i believe that the people who are worried of deportation are just under a false impression. they think that they'll get deported, even if they're legal. it's basically really just an overly-stigmatized concept people ARE indeed worried about deportation, it's just that they shouldn't be worried if they're legal in the first place it's just stupid lmaoo

So... let me get this straight... My retirement plan has grown six times larger since Trump has been in office, and he is the cause of the bad economy? And I literally cannot get a job anywhere in any of the surrounding towns except for 4 places because every job is taken by an illegal who came across the border and doesn't pay taxes. You do not have any idea how many jobs I've applied for but been told it's been taken by an immigrant. I drive 30 minutes to work every day, and nearly every business is full of them. Who cares if they have stable jobs, America's priorities should be on its own citizens, not on criminals who sneaked in because they had drugs or were previously criminals or weren't smart enough to become a citizen

What gives us the right to declare ourselves legal? America was founded on people who came to this land, killed, raped, tortured, & enslaved the natives, and then claimed the lang. Calling someone "illegal" is ironic as all fuck. *everyone* deserves a fair chance to live in america as long as they don't have malicious intent. People who are not here "legally" but are not causing any harm should not be deported. That would be a waste of money, and more importantly a total disregard of their rights as a human being.
