Why do you say that? I suppose I do agree with most of them, but others seem a bit more iffy (yes, I'm talking about the right to property, boo-hoo).

Cluck, I missed the argument. Why does the delusional fascist hate natural rights so much?

That's the thing, we've argued about a lot, but I don't remember having argued about this xdd They probably don't mix too well with his authoritarianism?

I had an argument with him about it. He claimed natural rights shouldn't exist, and I retorted by paraphrasing John Locke, which is why I mentioned property as one of them. If you would like to judge for yourself, it's on my wall.

Ohh I see, I see. You know, he does have good arguments, but I don't see what they have to do with the discussion. "Natural rights" doesn't mean that they're rights inherent to the human species somehow, but rather that they should be given to all humans. In any case, it's not government that gives you rights, it's culture through society through government. Each is a tool for the other.

I think that's perfectly reasonable when the government is in fact a tool of the people, as in a democracy. When a government is an autocracy, however, they don't have the just authority to define what rights people should have.

Yes, they do. They are now in charge of you. They have climbed to the top and now deserve to be feared/respected. They have done more than the average person. Calling me a Fascist is heavily incorrect. I am an Authoritarian-Capitalist-Nationalist. Basically what Pinochet was. Fascism is rather Socialistic. Something which I quite despise.

Jesus Christ, Pinochet? Fuck, man, that's just wrong... Also, just because a person is able to manipulate, murder, bribe, and force his way to a position of seemingly absolute power does not mean they have any right to kill, torture, or rob from anyone they please. We're all just pathetic humans, and what you're saying sounds awfully close to Divine Right of Kings but dressed differently. Yes, you will say that the key is in how they get to power, that kings were born into it while dictators earned their way into it, but the essence remains the same; they're all inevitably selfish bastards trying to have as cushy a life as possible at the expense of others.
