The Roman Empire fell because of not just overpopulation, market bursts, famine, corruption ect. It also fell because of the Barbarian expansion into Roman territory from Eastern Europe, Germanic and Gothic peoples. Orsogoths, Visogoths, Vandals, Teutons, Franks. And with declining Roman numbers, the empire stopped keeping them out and started giving them land and incorporating them into the army. They ‘infiltrated’ Roman society and fundamentally changed the culture.

And Christianity. The Greeks and then Romans worshiped multiple gods, including gods of the sea, the sun, war, sex, ect. Rome was a perverted society. Public baths, pornography in art in public, depicting gods and people. Emblems associated with roman gods including the god of sex, worn even by children, (often depicting genitalia), homosexuality was legal, polygamy was legal, and slavery was legal, including sex slaves, which was not even excluding of minors. So while Rome was the ‘civilized’ world it was the opposite of everything Christianity preached, Romans were sinful, prideful, perverted and worshiped heathen gods. A parallel can be drawn towards todays liberal western society and the conservative eastern one. In one of the videos posted, it caught Muslims telling western women they loom “Naked in the street” “Who you trying to seduce”. Many very conservative Muslims view the west as a godless and sinful society that allows perversion and infidelity. People who do not live in secular societies, where homosexuality, abortion, divorce and even fashion trends are not socially acceptable or even legal.

But as more people became disenfranchised in the empire, more people converted to Christianity. And as more people converted, the empire became less liberal and more conservative. The culture of Ancient Rome was broken.
