Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen are covered by the current travel ban. Iran: 99.4 of all Iranians are Muslim. Libya: 97% of all Libyans are Muslim. North Korea: self explanatory. Somalia: 99.9% of all Somalians follow Islamic practices. Syria: 70.1% of Syrians follow Sunni Islamic practices, still a large amount. Venezuela: self explanatory. Yemen:There are about 3,000 Christians,and 50 Jews in all of Yemen. Yemen has a population of 28,915,284 as of 2018. How is this not a Muslim Ban? Just a question.

Because it doesn’t ban Muslims, it does not factor in religion, it only temporarily bans people from a list of countries that are unsafe. Most of those countries just happen to be Muslim majority. I’m sure that has nothing to do with the status of those countries though. Also, there are 47 other Muslim majority countries and several dozen more countries with significant Muslim minorities, that are not on the list. Also, more than 90% of the world’s Muslims would not be in a country on the list.

And the reason there is only 3,050 Christians and Jews in Yemen is because they all fled or have been killed.

Also, all of them are self explanatory. Libya, in the wake of Gadaffi’s downfall, is in a state of war with Islamic extremists, Somalia is filled with Al-Shabab, Syria is filled with ISIS and controlled by Assad, Yemen is at war with extremist rebels which forced closed the US embassy, Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons and the Ayatollah has made his nation say “death to America” and called for the “annihilation of Israel”, and all are extremely hostile to Christians and especially Jews.

But it's not hard to see how it might be exaggerated to sell more or get a specific point across. All media do this.

If it was a Muslim ban he’d ban every country in the world that has at least 1 Muslim in it and say “only Muslims are allowed.”

The fact that North Korea is on the list shows that it isn’t a Muslim travel ban. Maybe, just maybe, those Muslim countries are dangerous?

Since the Twin Towers 2001, we ARE at war. Not vs nations, but vs terrorist organisations able to strike everywhere. We know where they hide, and what passport they use when traveling. The first step to win a war is make them unable to travel, stopping their attacks and their escapes. And if they want to do a suicide run, let that happen in their homes, not ours.

Where's Saudi Arabia? Where's Uzbekistan? Where's Pakistan? Where's India? No, this isn't a "Mudslime Ban". What do all these MENA countries have in common? They either sponsor terrorism (Iran) or are in current civil wars with those who commit terrorist attacks.

By Muslim ban, every country would have been banned. He just banned terrorist prone countries which is fine.

They have caught a few terrorists coming over the Mexico border also! More than one reason for the wall

Not even that, it would have to have been based specifically on religions affiliation and not necessarily country of origin in order to be an effective muslim ban.

So to suggest that the intention is to ban Muslims is ridiculously stupid.

The first step in solving a problem is recognizing that you have a problem.

War comes regardless if people recognize it or not. The fight against Islamic terrorism is low intensity, global and asymetric. It's still there regardless of number of snowflakes screeching about Islamophobia and "religion of peace".
