It depends on what is considered offensive and whether there is a divisiveness that results from it, and weather the effort is one to promote tolerance and acceptance by spreading awareness and understanding or one of ideological conditioning and demonization of opposing views. I don’t have much faith in the left in that regard. I think all classrooms should be safe zones in general, but to specifically target or highlight one group creates the question of double standard. What if white kids or Christian kids became the minority and ended up being targeted by bullying or something. Would we be able to count on the same type of response? I doubt it and that coupled with my understanding of the idealogical war the left is waging and the demonization of others therefore leads me to not support the ‘safe zone’ policy.

I also do not know if any specific incidents resulted in that policy. But that still does not change my above point.

This wall is a place where any political views can be shared, but I determine whether posts featuring propaganda even as a joke gets to stay on the wall or not. You can express your views on the wall and its comment threads. Occasionally I start debates.

To answer directly I would say it suppresses free speech.

another example is my wall is a safe zone to some degree i dont let racism or political views go on my wall unless there my own. and i dont usually care to talk about politics unless there core politics like economic or global news. sexism and sexuality context i have a huge problem with them going on my wall because i feel they attract bad attention and anoy my aduaiance

You do realized in the fine print, it will effect your free speech, while your parents agree to it. Overall, capitalism overfucks amendments.
