Auto craft wood when being collected.

Constructor already spends half the game collecting wood. Undrafted logs have no special use, as such the need to craft before use is just an unnecessary annoyance. The mined wood should be placed directly into the players inventory in crafted form.

hmm I'm trying to think of a reason why not. I think historically it's because you used to be able to repair a gate with wood logs, by rebuilding it quite literally.

Now though, having you keep the logs probably serves us no purpose indeed, although admittedly it feels like leading constructors by the hand like a toddler and bringing them everything on a plate, if you see what I mean. But if others strongly support this, and the opposition isn't as strong, we can add that.

I don't think removing pointless tedium is leading anyone like a toddler. The constructor has recently changed to a class that goes away hiding and mining wood half of the game (where previously they'd just get it on respawn), as I mentioned in another post. This suggestion is an attempt at streamlining that experience a bit.

I also think that there is a good point to removing crafting, because it feels so random in the EW gameplay experience. It is the only instance where you ever need to use the crafting grid on EW, nobody tells you you actually need to craft the wood to be able to use it. (consider a new player's perspective) It just doesn't fit as a game mechanic.

In fact we could go further and just remove the need to open inventory entirely, by limiting the player's inventory to the hotbar. (Though for some classes like the constructor the hotbar is already getting full. It's just an idea.)
