Why you should be unbanned/unmuted:
I'd like to first start by saying I am 21 years old and I only hop on the server so often. I could care less for being petty on a mineman server and doing something so extremely out of the way and inconvenient for other players is definitely not nor has it been at any point on my priorities. I'd like to explain that the 23 second video that was submitted was clipped in such a way that did not showing them attacking out or retreating back in when the 'Spawn Killing' that occurred literally using the Spawn Point as a way to flank the people running towards the flag from our own spawn point. It also doesn't show the person spawning in from the lobby in order for it to be considered spawn killing but decided to leave it at a 23 second clipping. Anyway, when I did notice that they were spawning in the place that was actually right next to our own spawn they decided to block themselves in which is when I noticed what had been going on so I went for the primary capture point instead of fighting them.
I had no knowledge at first that the small room was a spawn point to begin with, nor do i think i should have been punished for it because they were attacking us as well which did eventually lead to their victory. If we didn't attack we might as well had sat on our asses and let them rack up the kills. I think others that were banned made good points about the reputation of this video seeing as it did not include anything after or before the clippings that they made which would also mean they would have the original video that contained the full clip. I would also like to consider the fact that the ones who wanted to submit the ban upon us also explained that their job was not to show what was happening other than the rule that was being broken, meaning they would not reveal the clip the show the full story because they job is to ban us, not to show us skirmishing and being flanked.
In my complete opinion, this ban was petty and uncalled for. It was not a mistake the people who filed the ban report made nor was it my teams fault, but rather whoever screwed up the code or decided to throw a spawn point right next to the attacker spawn point and create that type of situation to occur. This is also not to mention that you are allowed to actually choose your spawn point which means after they died, they were not forced to go back to that area and ultimately decided to use it as a strategic flaw.
