Battle of Edoras - Story Part I (CUSTOM)

Hey Guys!
Yiannc made a thread called Rohan or Gondor, and its basically another who will win thread? Then I thought, I'll just make a mini story - perhaps not to small! Anyways, this is part I, stay tuned for more!

Edoras

Gondor fires it's catapaults destroying a chunk of Edoras. The rohan archers hurry to the wall shooting many gondorians, but not enough! Only 750 gondorians fell to the ground by the arrows, Gondor's archer's aim and shoot 800 Rohan archers down, only 250 remain! The battle continues for Edoras, Theodon sends out 2,500 Rohhirim Riders with Grimbold and Eomer, they stampede the Gondorians, 1000 Gondorians are killed. The gondorians ready their spears but are killed by the stampede of horses. Another 250 Gondorians are killed. 115 Rohhirm are killed. The gondor archers loosen their arrows, killing over 200 Rohhirim, the Gondorian's fire a catapault at the Rohhirim, killing 1000 of them; killing 400 Gondorians. 250 more rohan archers fire on the wall, but killing very few gondorians. The vast battle continues. 1,385 Rohhirm remain. Gondorian spear men throw spears but killing few Rohhirim. The archers of Gondor loosen poisonous arrows at the Rohhirim, killing 250; killing Grimbold. Eomer and 75 Rohhirim are angered, and charge bravely at the Gondorian Archers, the archers fire more arrows; killing only 7 rohhirim. Eomer and the few Rohan riders slayed the Gondor archers, Eomer shouts: "Are you patriotic?" and the Rohhirm shout "Yes", "If you are LOYAL to ROHAN CHARGE WITH ME!!!!!" he roars, hurting some of the coward's sensitive ears. All of the brave rohhirim charge with Eomer - Eomer felt a terrible pain and suddenly he fell off his horse - wounded, and several horses hit his body. Eomer died in a peaceful death. Meanwhile, The gondorians trebuchets were loading more gigantic rocks. "Shoot 'em, Kill 'em, murder 'em, JUST FOR THOR'S SAKE KILL DEM!" screamed the captain at the rohan archers. The rohan archers loosened their arrows only shooting less then 10, when there was several hundred of them. Pathetic really. "YOU DAM MEN ARE THE WORST! CAN YOU EVEN SEE - the captain was shot. Blood hardly dripping, it happened so fast that only a handful saw him die. There was several murmurs. Then, they started to firing, again.

Lousy Problems

The Gondorians archers were shooting at the surviving Rohhirm, killing only yet another 27, as they killed 34 when they were escaping while Eomer led brave men. "Load et up" grunted the Chief. Aim. "But sir - it takes a while to load up the trebuchet - "I DON'T CARE! Besides it only takes 1 minute, you lousy idiot".The trebuchets fired. Destroying n'other chunk of the city.

Casualty and Gate

"Pull retreat, Pull retreat! You will stand you're ground" Shouted the rohan commanders, As the last hundred rohhirim came through the gate. They closed the gate. "Rohhirim guard the city; prepare to charge out again, EVERYONE OUT! I only want 300 Spearmen and pikeman here; 150 riders and 500 Soldiers! Rest of you flee! Well, not flee just GO! roared the Highest commander there. "Sir" said a soldier panting heavily, coughing and barely managing to breath. "Grimbold and Eomer are dead" then stayed silent. The commander turned away, it was his duty to tell Theodon, and his only. He would feel even more remorse Theodon of course, been betrayed by their allies, their city being destroyed, and now his son?

Casualties:

2,684 Rohhirim, Rohan archers, etc.

Eomer

Over 500 Rohan civilians

Gondor:
2,666 Gondor Soldiers, Archers, riders, spearmen etc.

Most of the casualties are mentioned but not all.

The catapults were at the back lines of the huge gondor army, and the rohhirim was at the front, and yes a catapult could squash a lot. OK, maybe not 1000, but it's fiction. I won't put many other deaths by catapults. AND PLEASE DO NOT SWEAR.

Nah, I won't nerf them, but I'll tweak it. I may nerf them slightly.
 
Part TWO!

Fallen

The commander ran up the steps as, bricks almost fell on top of him. There was heaps of bricks, blocks - and bodies everywhere. The scent of war was in the air, obviously. Everything shattered.
"INCOMING, RUN, BACK DOWN! he heard many roars and shouts, he tumbled awkwardly down the steps, his hair completely white from the dust of the bricks. He ran. Theodon was in the hall of edoras, he wasn't looking forward telling him, but he had no choice. Many soldiers were sprinting everywhere, civilians crying, and explosions. He was running up the steps, at first the guards didn't recognize him, but let him through. He pushed the door open. "Theodon!" he cried.
'What?'
The commander waited. He had to. No going back.
'You're son died a hero's death, he died in the battlefield killing many gondorians; I was told it was a peaceful death'. I'm so sorry Theodon.
"There's no need to be sorry" said Theodon. Sitting on the throne. His face blank. Eyes in grief. Lips silent. 'It's me to be sorry, it's my fault, I shan't sent him out there -
'Don't blame yourself -
'I will and I have'.
'Go, you have delivered the message and that's all I need to know'.
The commander was walking out of the room then
'Wait. Did Grimbold survive?' he asked.
'No, I'm afraid not, Eomer avenged him but he was killed too'. said the commander sadly but slowly.

Family is everything

King Elessar II, stood there, at the back of the army. He would normally lead his army into battle but - today he didn't. It wouldn't do him any good deeds. Rohhirim riders slew his Father and many soldiers. It wasn't just that, Rohan had secretly ambushing special cargo, soldiers and even attacked camps. This was revenge, after he was finally fed up when they send out a large host of Rohhirim to attack Minas Tirith. They asked for war and they got it. They also attempted to steal his wife Arwen. But failed. "Sir, shall we move foward and take the city?" asked his General. "Oh, yes, though, do not harm civillians man, woman or child, understand me? "Yes, sir".

The Archer Games

The soldiers were handing archers bows rapidly, "C'mon go go go" said the Major.
"Aim, - Fire" he shouted, they killed 67 gondorians, 19 rohan archers were shot back at the same moment. Arrows flew by their faces only cms away. 29 other Rohan archers were shot. "Shoot 'em" muttered a Pikeman behind the archers. Loose! Shouted the captains. They fired and fired. They shot 234 gondorians.

Aim, said the Gondor captain, Fire! Over 900 arrows flew in their air as 800 more followed, the gondorion archers were rapid at firing, shooting 987 Rohan archers. Fire! He shouted again, killing another 398.

"My god" 'FIRE FIRE FIRE LOOSEN YOUR ARROWS! roared the head captain of the archers. The archers fired, they killed yet again only 107. When there was four hundred of them. "Aim fire!" roared the gondor captain, more Ithilien rangers came in reinforcing the archers, as they were on a large hill. They killed 356 rohan archers. "Back men, back!"
'THERE ARE LESS THEN 50 OF US SO SHOOT LIKE HELL, SHOOT LIKE HELL!
The rohan archers panicked and shot many arrows as they could, only killed 12 gondorians. Then, finally all of the rohan archers were dead.
'We have very few archers, he roared.

Theodon was now weeping.
 
It is an good story - but it is missing the language used by Tolkien. And where is the old English? And why are they using the common tongue?

Sorry, I rushed the last paragraph and there was a good few mistakes.

Dude.. Have you read it at all? Read it again and you'll find out. Rohan were continuously attacking Gondor, so they attacked Edoras... And why were they attacking Gondor? Well, I'll guess you'll have to read Part 3 or 4 when it's finished.

Well... I'll edit a good bit of Old English soon, but I don't have much time on me hands, here! Don't expect it to be 100% Old english, perhaps 55% or 40.
 
Ye should be warn'ed, displays of disgust towards tails of valor, will sent thy bravest minecraft players to the void.

I don't really care about the old English :'( I want more story. I want to know the reason Rohan ambushed Gondorian exports and such. WHY WHY WHY!!!!!!!! This is what you have been waiting for... to find out the truth, here is the third last part of this sega, and you may think this shall be the end... but it is not.

Part 3

If, they take thy gate, edoras shall fall


Charge men!!!!!!!!!! roared the captain of gondorian horsemen, the ithilien rangers shot any who were a threat, the gondorian knights were destroying the last ranks of the Rohan marshals. The ram was getting close, less then 25 feet.

Move, move, get me archers now! shouted Rover one of their best Generals. 'You lot, get bows and come to me!', though the marshals had no experience at archery whatsoever they still got bows from the weapon wall. The rohan men tried to fire arrows, but failed 3/4 the time, the general grabbed a bow from one of them and snarled 'This is how you shoot a dam bow' he quickly pulled out an arrow from the quiver and swiftly fired, killing an ithilien ranger. The rohan archers quickly learned. After a while they shot 17 altogether, though the Ithilien rangers coped on and killed them within several minutes. Rover scowled. 'No point with archery, get the DAM ballistas and huge crossbows' he roared. Quickly 25 ballistas and 15 huge crossbows were at the gate walls, the ballistas were fired and did enormous damage to the army. Killing 625 gondorians, 25 death to a bolt. The crossbows fired and killed 45 more gondorians. The ram was at the gate.
The Gondor commander chuckled 'Only three pushes denzzz ze gate DOWN'.
'I want 3,500 men at the gate NOW' he shouted. 'That's a lot' said a shy soldier quietly.
The ram went blowing at gate particularly destroying half of the gate in one push. 'AGAIN'
The next time, the gate was pushed wide open. Hundreds of rohan soldiers took their positions 20 minutes ago.
The spearmen and pikemen waited for the sprinting gondorians, then the spearmen threw their spears and put them in front of themselves, and slashing fiercely at them. Killing 489 gondorians, the Gondorian Horse archers arrived and shot the spearmen and pikemen. More gondor soldiers were coming, and soon there we no more rohan spearmmen nor pikemen, though they did kill anothet 460 gondorians. The 500 rohan marshals darted at the gondorians weaving a violent humming pattern, 432 gondorians died along with 345 rohan marshals. The 150 rohhirim charged at the gondor armies, killing 600 of them. Sadly 140 of the rohhirim were killed and left to ten left. The rohan continued to fight savagely against the gondorians, as the gondorians style was swift and deadly, the rohan marshals was savage. 250 more gondorians were killed. So were 175 rohan marshals. There were no more rohan spearmen, pikemen, left at the battle at the gate. Two-hundred-fifty (250) crossbowmen aided the surviving rohan soldiers. The crossbowmen fired extremely fast and killed 390 gondorians, but were no match for the Ithilien rangers and were killed. The last ten rohhirim riders stampeded the gondorians killing a 100 of them and they died themselves in a matter of seconds. 'Take the wall' roared the generals. And so they did, but there were 250 rohan marshals scattered on it. The rohan marshals were defeated but managed to kill 95 gondorians, as they were stampeded, overrun and taken by suprise.
There were 50 archers waiting and killed 67 gondorians, but were slayed, the gondorians charged up the stairs, giving mercy upon the citizens, those who surrendered or were partly innocent.


Why and When

Every morning, many rohan soldiers were missing and some heavily wounded, and were messaged that Gondor will invade if they don't stop the countless massacres and attacks. Theodon was angered by this, and had a word with Elessar that they will stop. The next day half of their army was injured, and so was the next. Until eomer himself led 950 rohhirim to the river Anduin and slayed many innocents and continued; they went to Osgilaith but failed.

They did not know, but there was something dark, controlling them. Magic which hadn't been used for thousands of years.

New speices?

In the forest, a new elf, new magic, to the race of man had come.
The elves opened their eyes, hundreds of thousands, and then even more came out from the ground, not a bit of dirt on them, their eyes black.
A loud clear voice echoed, you have -
'Kill it' muttered one of the creatures.
There was a murmur in agreement, and after that the voice was killed (as, it was a once-servant to Morgoth (melkor).
 
This is turning out great. I am loving this. Thanks for making these. I really enjoy reading these. You could make more if you wanted and I would still read them.
 
Part 4:
The gondor soldiers made haste up the city, killing many rohan soldiers. Then almost up the hall waited, 350 rohan soldiers and 350 rohhirim, and a dozen ballistas, the huge gondor army backed slowly, but the ballistas fired to fast and killed 144 gondorians, and the rohan marshals charged and slashed violently, the rohhirim stampeded and sliced the gondorians. 491 Gondorians were killed, 156 rohan marshals and 14 rohhirim. The rohan continued charging at the gondorians, but the ithilien rangers shot arrows faster then any man could, down fell 150 rohan marshals. The rohhirm charged and killed 148 gondorians, and 29 rohhirim were killed. The rohhirim charged down at full speed killing 289 gondorians, the rohan marshals ran at the gondorians, but thousands of more gondorians overran them. The rohan marshals killed 325 gondorians before they fell, the rohhirm killed 476 before they were finally defeated. They gondorians let the ones whom surrendered or were innocent live. The army continued, and battled their way through, and finally in the hall. They noticed there was hardly any soldiers in the city beside it or in the hall. None. Not one. And very few citizens.

Didn't turn out as well as I hoped but still going great. Maybe this all means something later but this... wasn't the best.
 
Sorry to disappoint you x1936, Mark and other dudes who read it. I was in a rush and wanted to finish it.

Part 6:

so.. - my god we have visitors ! ! !


The helmsdeep guard blew the horn immediately, 'Open the gate' he roared. 'Open the gate' they chanted back. 'Finally some action' he said, looking out eagerly. There's an army of 10 thousand coming in, sir! said a excited soldier near by him. The commander was getting suspicious, why was there a third of their army coming to Helmsdeep? Though, there was one thousand at the fortress since there was rumors that gondor was invading all of rohan. It must be true - but if their here, gondor must not be far behind? His heart was beating a hundred miles an hour. 'READY FOR BATTLE, READY FOR BATTLE, OPEN THE GATE!' he roared. 'Of course' they screamed back.

Theodon was leading the army at high speed, make sure no one tramples, within 3 minutes they were in Helmsdeep.

King Elessar was now walking up the steps of the hall of Edoras. 'So, I see the rumors are true, they fled'.
'Yes' grunted a guard. 'To helmsdeep it is then'
