Challenging players

Idea by: WillFrostStorm

The idea consists of players who challenge other players, like bets, for number of kills (to get started atleast).

WillFrostStorm said that it would be nice to have players compete against each other but officially and without treachery (such as not giving the points you promised if you lose). An example can be found in the movies, when Gimli and Legolas compete in numerous battles (although they may have no prize but still).

Although, there should be a new command in that case.

I offer something similar to /bet (PlayerName) (kills) (points*)

* in case if you lose, this amount of points is going to be taken from your account. You can not enter an amount superior to your current amount of points. That means that during the challenge, to avoid treachery (again), /pay command will be disabled.

In order to activate the challenge, the player's name entered in the command has to type in the same command but with the opposite player name and eventually a different amount of points. When it's done, both players then have to type /betaccept or something like that, to start the challenge.

In a situation where a player wanted to challenge someone but typed in the wrong IGN (for example if you type L and press tab and instead of LimeeFox it types LolFighterXD) then you type /betcancel or similar.

If during the activated challenge, someone wants it to be cancelled, both of the players involved in the challenge type /betcancel. ONLY IF BOTH OF THEM DID THAT, THE CHALLENGE CANCELS.

ALTERNATIVE SYSTEM:

Player types /bet
and then an inventory is opened where the player has to pick a skull (those represent online players) and once he did it, the inventory closes and a message in chat is sent to the requested user. If that user types /betaccept (or something similar) then an inventory opens for both of them and they have a whole line or column of Skeleton skulls of different amounts (like in the image below) which represent kills that you can bet. A nother line or column will represent the point amount, using emeralds. There would also be a lime glass pane for ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE and red glass pane for REJECT or CANCEL

In this example, let's suppose that I am challenging WillFrostStorm (explaining my skull down the inv. and will's up the inv.).

So here, you click on the amount of points and then pick an amount of kills. It will appear so:

I clicked ONCE on the 20 points icon and ONCE on the 10 pints icon. I also clicked ONCE on the 20 kills icon and ONCE on the 5 kills icon.

Meanwhile let's suppose WillFrostStorm clicked these:

So he clicked TWICE on 3 kills icon and ONCE on 5 kills icon. He also clicked ONCE 20 points icon.

once we are ready, both click the Lime glass pane and the challeneg is actiavet! If it's not completed, then it expires in 24 hours. After the challenge is completed, you can challenge another time only after 24 hours it's completed (unless it expired automatically).

I put too much effort in this suggestion, it's probably too hard to code anyways... It's sad that such effort is often useless... :/

Idea: The player can challenge someone but they both need to play a specific class!

And, it indeed takes much time and effort but it's pretty fun to do sometimes.

So would this just work for kill competitions? Could/would it work for anything else?

I went through a thought that already this is too hard to code, but if not, then I would mention that (if we use the second system) the player would have an inv opened right after he clicks player's skull where he choses what does he want to challenge about with the other player. That means that a message will be sent to the requested player if he wants to challenge about (for example let's take repairs) getting repairs, and then the old system goes except that instead of skulls it'd be planks
