Hello all. I may not be the most well known on this server but I really enjoyed the community of friendly and skilled players on it. I want to try to continue that community in whatever way I can.
I understand there are already some communities being created via teamspeak and skype, but discord is another platform I really enjoy using. It's a combination of teamspeak and skype, with as many text and voice channels as you like. I think the way its notifications work + channel organization + taking up 1/5th the memory of skype makes it a fantastic platform. It starts in like 2 seconds, there is a fully functional in-browser version, a fully functional free app, and it has in-game overlay (icons showing who is talking that show up even if discord isn't the main window). If you guys aren't using it already, I could not recommend it more.
I actually don't even have to invite anyone individually to join the server, all you have to do is click this invite link and you'll be given a temporary discord account that you can later claim by signing up with an email and etc.
