Dol Guldur

I noticed there was some confusion with our teammates about Dol Guldur and what it really looked like. I realize that Tolkien Gateway states that, in the Hobbit (2012) "Dol Guldur is depicted as a ruined and abandoned fortress of unknown origin." We know the origin, though, and I believe that we should at least attempt to stay as close to Tolkien's works as we can get. Our Dol Guldur will be based off the Hobbit Dol Guldur, but it will also be based off the books as well. It will be large and menacing, and not as grandly built as other evil fortresses, but it will not be completely ruined, nor will it be in upper-most shape. It will be fine in some areas, with many ruins around, which would be the places most used and the places least used and "forgotten," if you would put it that way. Umm...We are all going to help with the building. I will make the world for it (you guys can critic it if you'd like). And, once again, Dol Guldur is not just RUINS! Also, I need to know what times people will be available to build on Saturday.
I guess we'll have to have a terrain generating competition...You viewers of this thread will judge it...I don't have time to start right now though...expect to judge our maps this weekend at some point!Im making some terrain
Hey! Yeah! Book Version all the way! There is no way for two people to make a terrain with the program that lem and I use, so people will just have to choose. And I have been thinking of secret ways since before coming up with the map...Also, DON'T TELL THE PUBLIC YET!you two should work together to make one

Also, a note about DG (Dol Guldur): It will be looking like a dark old castle, something creepy that you would expect to find in the depths of Mirkwood. The actual castle will have very little ruins, but the walls, the bridge, and the areas around it will be full of ruins.

Hey! This is a world that I made this morning for our map; I think that you can all see where the road, the bridge, and DG will go. Also, I will be doing a little more editing on it, so don't get to mad! Yes, I realize that there are no trees right now. They cannot be seen on photos like this, but I asure you, there will be many, many Mirkwood trees.
