Donator Ranks and VIP Merging idea

I've recently been giving my thought on the donator ranks.
It's currently too expensive to get simple rewards, as you no longer get a lot so I got the following idea.

Note that this is just a suggestion and won't happen for sure, we are just looking into it.


The idea is as following:
[1] All Heroes and Lord get a rank change to [VIP], which would now count on LMS, LS, Hub & Siege
[2] All Legends and higher would get a rank change to [VIP+], which would also count on all servers.
[3] VIP will cost 10€ and VIP+ 25€, these will be the only ranks but you will still be able to donate more.
[4] This way we can spread out the rewards from all servers over the ranks, giving more rewards in general for the amounts, and thus making the ranks worth more and more attractive.
[5] Seeing that All ranks over Legend don't get much anyways right now, it wouldn't be that big of a deal to move those rewards into the [VIP+] rank.
[6] This way you wouldn't lose any rewards, except the [Hero], [Lord], etc tags would be replaced by [VIP] and [VIP+]


Let me know what you think about this idea.

Also, please wait before you vote and think. This would not lower anyone's rewards about from losing some tags, this would only give you more free rewards (Other servers you previously didn't donate on) and make donator ranks more attractive to maybe get more donations to keep the server alive.
 
i dont like the idee to change the ranks lord-her0-king etc they give the server a lot of more fun and even alittle bit of rpg. somethimes I even think im in a real lotr battle and i must follow orders of my superiors when they are calld vip or vip+ the roleplay is gone and its just another kit pvp with teams server i like the server i realy do but when you do the idea of replacing ranks i dont think its fair people payd over 50$ for ranks to hafe some roleplay and a voice where people listen to and the you replace them for 25$ ranks then they lost 25$ and get a rank they not efen wanna hafe so no im not like the idee!
 
Actually, seems fine to me. Maybe those people who donated for King would be a bit mad that they would get the same things as people who only donated 25 EUROs. But that depends on the personality of those persons.


But that would mean that the Veteran rank would be open Tibbles.. ;D!

I agree, but right now there are only 2 small rewards that Kings have more than Legends, so that wouldn't change too much.

I also agree that the RP tags are better, but we can't fill up 6 ranks of rewards, let alone VIP & VIP+ too.
 
i like this idea (with this system i would probally donate for vip+ other for lord) but make 3 ranks like vip vip+ and king (or other names) king would have all the things you also wil get by the king rank for siege now but than also for lms and ls it will cost 75 euro the vip+ rank will have all the ranks of 50 euro donator
 
If I could get practically everything for 13 $, or literally everything for 30 $, I would seriously consider donating.
The only people this would offend are the high donating Kings, but they're such a small portion of the populous that they wouldn't matter all that much
 
It seems like most people are upset to lose the tag. Why don't you give VIP or VIP+ The option to pick what tag they have
like "/tag hero" or "/tag Lord" for VIP and the rest of the "/tag"s for VIP+ else

Nah, we want the tags the same to prevent confusion.

We have been thinking about doing [IRON] [GOLD] [MITHRIL] or [VIP] [VIP+] [MITHRIL] with the 3rd rank being a 40€ rank (all vet+ would get it for free)
 
I think that Iron gold and Mithril are just a bit better than VIP and VIP+

It's just more original, and fits with the server theme.
 
I really really like this idea... it seems really cool and would overall make donating more attractive as it would span the entire network... good thinking tim
 
^ I agree with Cookie on this, it would give our servers a new rank that is unique to our servers and isn't used by everybody else; like the generic VIP or VIP+ that are used by a large number of God Apple PvP Kit Servers (Servers that bring shame to Minecraft). This whole idea would be good as it connects Seige with LMS and LS, making us more of an actual network instead of a Server with a couple of add-on's.
Also this idea would also finally leave the Veteran rank (And even the term used to refer to old players) up for grabs, which means Veteran could actually be a small chat perk/rank for older players; (not age, but how long they have been on the server) people like... Anrz- uhm . . Cookie. But, only if that idea is allowed by the EULA, and if it pleases Tib Tib.
 
I like my veteran tag but this seems like a good idea - even if it didn't make much sense to me

I believe that a simple rank is allowed by the EULA..


Also Veteran Rank would be awesome, now the new players can see who have been here for a while too ;P

AWESOME IDEA, plz add this so i can still be a king :)
