So what I was thinking is that this server can go way farther than what is set up. We could add other war maps that aren't LOTR related but add them on like another world or section of the server...cause I mean this entire server doesn't have to be straight forward LOTR. We have very talented builders on here that could replicate the Death Star from Star Wars for crying out loud! I mean who thinks battles like that wouldn't be awesome? Hogwarts, Death Star, real life battles (iraq, iran), futuristic battles like halo, etc... Just expanding horizons a bit! Hopefully you'll think more on this! Cheers!

if we put more maps in another section of the server, there are 3 things it will require
1) Money: You have to pay for every part of the server there is. Seige, LMS, LS, Hub, they all require money and we're barely meeting it (or at least before the youtubers we WERE barely meeting it) so this would need more donators.
2) Time: are YOU going to make these maps? ^_^
3) Tim's consent: This here. Biggest thing. Not going to happen.

The server is named Castle Siege and Tim said only medieval type. So, it can be EVERYTHING: LOTR, GoT, The Hobbit, Silmarillon, R.A.Salvatore's mind...
 
To be honest, the two things I'd like to do most apart from expanding our current server are adding the Middle-Earth MMORPG and adding a potential Game of Thrones Siege server one day.
The current problems with adding another Siege server is that the costs would most likely increase with about 100€ a month.
Another problem is with our current server getting about 60-100 online on the best times, adding this server would most likely bring both down to 30-50 until we get more members.

I'd still love to do this, but we'll have to get more donations and many more members first.

Why don't you do only ONE FREAKING server?

Because we want people who like GoT to be able to go to GoT sieges, and people who like LOTR to be able to go to LOTR servers.[/quote]

You could combine them.

A lot of LOTR fans are also fan of GoT, and a lot of GoT fans are also fan of LOTR.

If we combine them the GOT fans that don't like LOTR leave when a LOTR map comes, and LOTR non-GOT fans leave when a GOT map comes. Seeing that we'll most likely get a full server a lot soon, this could be an effective way to deal with it, by still keeping the themes of the servers.

What Seiges do you have in mind? Do you only mean literal sieges (Siege/Sieges of Rivverun, Siege of Storms End, Battle of the Muddy Gate, Siege of Pyke, etc.), or other battles and skirmishes that took place throughout SoIaF? Because there are loads you could include; Battle of Castle Black, Fist of the First Men, Battle of the Bells, Sacking of Kings' Landing, Battle of the Trident, Battle of the Blackwater, etc. Wow, I'm getting excited already.
