Final Message to all of EW

Empire War v2 is shutting down as you all have heard. Want to put my final words here. Thank you 960266 for the 5+ years I've been on here, building a true LOTR siege/minecraft experience and game mode for all of us to enjoy, something that's rarely ever been done. Something to be seriously proud of. And all the other developers & builders.

I've had some of the favorite times of my life on this server, from destroying Rikumaru in pvp, making suggestions, building things, seeing the server change, grow, and seeing all of you guys grow up too.

I went from a middle school 13 year old LOTR and minecraft obsessed immature kid, to an 18 year old immature college student within the life span of this server. While I may not have been as active for the past couple years, this server and community certainly has had a backseat spot in my life during everything, no matter what I could always hop on and troll around on EW.

The forums have always been bookmarked on my main google chrome list for what, between 4-5 years now.

Some of my favorite memories include the 2014-15 era of only point classes, discovering and learning everything for the first time, getting all the old point classes, the laketown events, the other gamemodes. I'll miss never making EW suggestions anymore.

As for me right now I don't plan on playing minecraft but if there is some sort of revival of a new age or EW style server I'd love to check it out with you guys.

It's your boy, checkin out for the last time.

Thank you, I love you all.

Agree with all of it. I've put my feelings in the news post, but yeah it's crazy how I've grown up with EW and somehow got to where I am now.

I'll be perfectly honest, I longed throughout the past three years to have no obligation, and to just be a normal player with everything sorted for me, but obviously that was not possible.

I'll certainly remember every single person I've known well over the years for, hopefully, the rest of my life. I'll probably say more at some point, but yeah. It's all too much to summarise I guess.

I went from base school to college so sad to see this come to an end a second time.

Me too I also loved making suggestions.
