So I made this thread to help some of the newer members of Empire-War, I have seen a lot of people asking these questions, so I am about to answer them. I have no idea if this has been made before, but I feel a new thread like this needs to be made.

Question 1. How do I start?

You walk along the lobby until you come across the two team selectors, there you select a team. After selecting a team you choose a class, and click the red/green wool, depending what team you're on.


Question 2. How do I use the voting classes?

You can use the voting classes by typing /vote, a link should come up and you can vote, to receive access to the classes.


Question 3. How do I get VIP/PRO/Elite?

These are donator ranks, you can get them buy going to www.empirewar.org/store and selecting a rank. These come with certain perks that make the game more enjoyable.


Question 4. How do I know how long is left?

You can check the amount of time left by doing /game, this will show the time left and also the amount of people on each team.


Question 5. Is there a staff member on?

You can check this by doing /players, it will show any staff who are currently online.


Question 6. How do I check my kills/deaths/captures etc?

You can check these by doing /stats. If you want to check your kill-death ratio then do /kd, if you wish to look at your highest killstreak do /killstreak.


Question 7. Is there a leader board?

You can check the leader board of kills/score/deaths/mvps/killstreaks and other things by doing /top (category), you can also do /top (category) (any number 1-100)


Question 8. How do I give someone points?

You can give someone points by typing /pay (player) (amount).


Question 9. (This is a bit unnecessary as it is posted on the forums, but I will do it anyway) What is the forums called?

You can come on the forums at www.empirewar.org/forums


Question 10. How do I become a Nazgul?

You can get Nazgul or any other point classes by buying it, Nazgul is the most expensive point class at 25000 points, most classes are around 3000-4500.


Question 11. How do I get points?

You can get points by capturing flags, getting kills and getting mvp, getting assists does not give you points.


Question 12. What map is next?

The map order goes like this - Osgiliath, Minas Tirith, Isengard, Minas Morgul, Moria Gold, Moria Great Halls, Erebor, Black Gate, Edoras, Helms Deep.


Question 13. Is Dale on the server yet?

No, dale is currently being coded and prepared for the server, you will need to wait a bit.


Question 14. How can I help make the maps?

You can help make these maps at www.epicquestz.com


Question 15. How do I apply for staff?

You don't apply for staff, sjoerdtim (the owner) selects people.


Question 16. Which wool do I hit?

On some maps you can spawn at any point, but on some you can only spawn at particular points. The good team hits green wool to spawn, the bad team hits red. If you're not sure where you need to spawn then just hit them all and you will soon find out. Some maps like Isengard don't have wool, you just need to go up to the signs and click them.

Question 18. What type of server is this?

This is a Lord of the Rings based Castle Siege, there is usually 1 team attacking and 1 team defending.

A version of this on how to ram a gate was made, but considered useless because you know, most people don't know about the website nor care too much about it. Pretty much the only people that can read this. . . know how the server works.
In-game there IS a book in your hotbar. You only have it while you are in the main lobby. There is one for each map, and provides a decent explanation of the map. However, I do not think that it contains a good number of the questions you have brought up, nor is there a different book to cover those topics.
We COULD convince Tim to add a book that covers some of these topics, but if he does not consent or does not see this, we can always just give the new people the answer when they ask it. Not to mention that a lot of them don't even read the info provided.
