History of Origins of Empire war and EpicQuestz?

For a long time, I've wondered how the empire war servers first began, and how epicquestz first formed.

I apologise if there is already a thread or article for this, but I have searched far and wide and could not find it, if so, please send me a link.

If not, could an admin or mod please take time out of their very busy schedule, and write about it? I would appreciate it very much! Thank you!

(If your not a mod but still know about it, please post, I'm eager to know as much as possible!)
 
Not true at all. We used Helm's Deep in siege form to have a temporairy server after an old RP server ended.

We asked EQ for permission on using Minas Tirith, they said we were allowed to use it and they played on the server once in a while. They really enjoyed it and I joined their build and later youtube team.
 
Well, before the LOTR server, you had another RP map. But when Sjoerd closed the server, and putted a small PvP map to still let people stay on the server, they all liked it. So Sjoerd was like, I'll make this a Lotr PvP server :D!

The other RP server was like the one that got shutdown, barely RP, people have no respect and thinking it's a PvP grief server, and it makes me sad to say that I was one of those kind of people who thought and did that :/
 
Heck tim even greifed on the old roleplay server http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTJajQszJdc the video is i believe by iwas's brother.And i thought that was not the way empirewar started.
 
Yeah, he even spawned zombies on our faces when I and some other people were raiding, but well that was a long time ago.
 
That wasn't the old RP, it was a small raid pvp server we had for a weekend after LOTR.
 
Let's say, Sjoerd and Farmeraap created a server 3 years ago. 10 People on in the weekend, wasnt much (Earth, Wind, Fire, Water stuff). After some months, they made / found another map, and they used it. Again, 10 people. Then after a year or something, Sjoerd made a Roleplay server, (Not Earth, Wind , Water and fire this time). They had to close it. The server was off a couple o' months. Sjoerd and Farmer made a small siege server, Players vs Npcs. Again, it was off (A few weeks this time). They made a Helms Deep server, and many people started joining. (Sjoerd already told the EpicQuestz stuff)

It was Ice, Heat and Leaf I believe, not avatar :P
 
It was fire, ice, and life. Also after the 2nd rp server shut down there was a creative plot server for a long time to give tim and the staff building ideas for the 3rd.
 
It was fire, water, earth & air.

Later on we made frost, sky, life and heat
 
Oh yeah, forgot that one. But the first server was Earth, Wind, Water and fire.
 
These elements were lands.

Heat was a desert with lava rivers, Ice were snowy plains and Leaf was a big forest. So you, you can guess the fire, water, air and earth too then :P
