{Idea} Clan Title in Game

So, since we have had all these clans popping up everywhere I though that it would help to have the clan leader be able to give the people on in their clan the clan title. the clan title would just be the clan name in front on their name when they chat. (like rank titles) This would help team leaders know who is on their team. without having to check back on the original thread.
please comment you thoughts!

Two reasons why I say no.

-make the chat very spammy

-could make players become jealous of clan members and/or desperate to join one

Two reasons why I say yes.

Would help support the whole clan idea and bring back a stronger community.

Would encourage people to join the forums and apply, increasing forum activity and giving my intentives to play on the game.

Overall, it's a good suggestion with pros and cons. I say we let a staff see this.
 
Might conflict with donator titles. A suffix might work but the permissions for it would be something awful. And it may also lead to people wanting "clan only bases" where non clan members can't access. Which could lead to them being used as escape zones in battle and drawing players away from the fight leaving a team under maned and unable to get more players. They closed the bar in Minas Tirith for just that reason. It was a nice bar.

I believe you foremost require an actual factiol/guild plugin before getting into titles. Also, the titles would be restricted to a potential faction/guild chat, considering quite many none roleplay and uncreative names will occure :3

There's a rank called ''Elite'', and there's a clan called Team Elite, small conflict there. But also think that it might be a bit confusing for new players, having a team rank and another ''team'' (clan) name.
