What do you think about the idea of:
Osgiliath Gold/Core map?

How it would work:
  • Demolish the bridge - no one can cross it.
  • Poison the water, so no one can cross river.
  • Either: Set up a core in the camp, and a core in the old garden/tomb.
  • Or: Set up a gold deposit, somewhere.

The map would be smaller. But cool. And nostalgic, so popular. And gold/core, so Timish.

Or.... Remove all this Conwy bullshit and bring back EW. Or the community will just die.
I'm not sure how much I remember of Conwy, but it was very similar to EW, no? Sieges.. This suggestion isn't a siege. Unless you mean the class thing? Tell me about it on my wall or in another suggestion.

As for this, could work, though I'd prefer another siege map.

Why wouldn't he pick the best map on the old server? Not being sarcastic, Osgiliath was awesome.[/quote]
Yeah, the best part was when there was 5-6 people on running around capping eachothers flags, it got so intense!

Well, it was certainly the best in stalemates, but to each their own.
The bridge was definitely a stalemate, and the weaker part of the map, in my opinion. What I liked about Osgiliath was the fighting in the city after the bridge, which I felt was open ended, nonlinear, and dynamic.

I agree on turning Osgiliath into a gold map.
Problem is that, since it's very easy to hide in the ruins, it'd be very easy to smuggle the gold through.
We'd need to either alter the map for this, or add some kind of tracking device for tracing gold carriers.

Maybe fireworks? Like the berserker used to have on helms
