Master of the Hidden Valley

V1 Veteran
The Hidden Valley of Imladris is one of the few still-civilized points in Eriador, and in it dwells Elrond Half-Elven, and many Sindar and Noldor Elves. Rivendell - its common name - has remained hidden and unbreached by the enemy for centuries. Darkness stirs in the North, however, and the marches north of the Trollshaws are no longer safe. Lord Elrond cannot combat Orcs and Frost Trolls and rule the valley at the same time, so he requires a counterpart, a partner in rule, to steward in his absence, and combat evil when he is at home.

To apply, post in the comments below, stating your name (IC, and you must be an Elf), along with at least three sentences on why you would make a good master of Imladris.

My name is Erendhil.

I was born and raised in Rivendell and know all it's secrets.

To protect this home for all, has been always my goal in life. I have great strategic insight and have slayed many foul creatures with my spear. I would fight untill my last breath to protect Imladris. I shall bring peace and Rivendell shall flourish.

Name: Beepbobit the Wise, Lord of the Bards, Spearman and Captain of Gondor, Cupbearer of the King
Though I may not be an 100% elf, I was raised in Rivendell after my family was orphaned. I know many people there, and have a much stronger appreciation for the Elvish arts and culture than some of the others in this election.
I seek not to impose rivendell on others, to expand the military or make colonies. I seek to keep Rivendell as what it was meant to be: a refuge, a place of art and culture, and of magic, not of war, violence, and hatred. We would open our doors to any friend of Rivendell, not just elves.
Good luck to all! I hope others apply as I may be DQed for not being an elf

I will always remain vigilant and protect those who are in need. I shall study magic and use it for the greater good. I will not rule alone. The people of Imladris shall speak aswell.

I owe the Elves of Rivendell a debt; after the sacking of Erebor, I journeyed south, through the Bight, then through Mirkwood, closer to Dol Guldur than I care to think of. I crossed the Anduin in the Gladden Fields, then searched for a pass into Eriador, trying the Redhorn and Gladden passes, and several dead ends. By this time it was midwinter, and I was starving and probably half-mad, but then I crossed the High Pass, and ended up in the Trollshaws, where I was taken by an Elvish patrol, to Imladris, where I was healed and bettered. I dwelt there a month and three days, then duty called and I journeyed to Thorin's Halls.
