Hey! I don't know if any of you thought what would change if this was added, but on old EmpireWar, if you remember, each player could see how many creatures (men, ents, dwarves, orcs etc...) were left till the end of the game on the right side of the screen like here:

Basically it also resolves the "Buff the attackers" request as even if the defenders hold their positions, the attacker's chances of winning are greatly increased and make the game more similar to what people want.

This would be a good update especially for rounds with a great amount of player like we are used to get todays.
I hope this will get noticed :)

too hard to- jk
also maybe make some feature similar to old helms deep where the team is forced to retreat if they lose a certain amount of lives (for minas tirith, cove, edoras, or really any map that has distinct flag 'layers' because osgiliath is all jumbled)

I agree with this, but I also think that the main emphasis should be put on capping the points. I think that reducing the enemy life count should be a viable tactic to win, but I don't want it to become so viable that going for kills overshadows the objectives.

Keep in mind that the maps are smaller than on old ew so flags are closer to each other. Also I don't think that a whole team will keep their goal in killing because some players know that they aren't that good in pvp and would rather prefer capping. There is actually a massive list of arguments and disarguments that i could list but i think you get the point :)

Defender lives should be decreased, hard to remember but I found them having so many lives that it wasn't punishing at all for playing stupidly aggressive

Not sure if I agree with this. Main objective should be capturing points, not mindless killing. I also don't think this would disencourage attackers to play offensive, since most people wouldn't care about the outcome of games.

I think we should come up with a way to disencourage offensive attackers, maybe by making respawning harder, or something like that. In those sieges, it was always the case that attackers outnumbered the defenders, so the defenders would have to be careful to stay alive, whilst the attackers wouldn't have to worry about numbers.
