Some of you might know me from my previous server FantasyWar but most of you don't and that's fine.
Basically I have hosted a couple servers before for about 3 years now and I'm currently creating a server named ClashWars.
Tim always played on FantasyWar and always wanted to try and help and then decided to start EmpireWar because he wanted to do more then just helping a little on FantasyWar.
I have helped him a little telling the basics and gave some tips etc and we have always helped each other where needed.
I heard some people say that ClashWars need EmpireWar and this is of course true I'm not going to lie about that.
But I heard Tim was planning to do some more smaller events from Only_God and this made me thinking...
Why not work together with Tim and see if we can merge the servers to one big server.
So I started talking with Tim and he was really excited about it and so was I because it was something new for both of us.
And then you're probably wondering why does EmpireWar needs ClashWars.
I don't know all the reasons of course because I'm not Tim and he can probably explain that better.
But the main reasons are probably to be part of a big community and to work together with someone that has as much experience as him.
And then I hear you thinking.. "Big community?? ClashWars doesn't even exist yet.."
The thing is I know what I'm doing and I have a lot experience to know what most people in the community like and what not.
I have worked out a lot awesome stuff that makes CW special and unique compared to all other event servers.
From everyone that has joined and played some games they were all amazed and loved it, and they wanted to kept playing and playing.
Tim probably sees the same as I do and I think CW will become extremely big and we will do everything to make this happen.
And for you as EmpireWar player there wont even be that much changes.
Like we decided to keep the donation system separated.
This means that everyone donated to EmpireWar will just keep their donations.
And you can just keep using the same IP if you wish.
The only big difference is gonna be that people can join the LOTR Siege event from the CW lobby.
Tim has also said he wanted to keep working on LOTR Siege the most.
This means I wont do that much with siege and Tim will have all control over it still.
However Tim will be able to do anything he want with the ClashWars server like adding events and stuff like that.
So basically the only big difference is that LOTR Siege will be part of the ClashWars network, and that Tim can add/change/remove events on the network aswell.
If there is anything I missed here that you would like to know then I will answer it below.
And if you disagree with this merge that's fine but I would say wait till everything has happened and then you can complain and do whatever you want.
Because now nobody knows exactly what the impact will be and you will see that it wont be as bad as you might think.
