Minas Morgul Revamp

Minas Morgul was first called Minas Ithil. It was a gondorian city on the edge of mordor. When Saurons army took it it became the fortress of the Witch King and was then called Minas Morgul. The gondorians had an arena for entertainment. The orcs used it to show who is the strongest orc with a 1v1 fight to the death.

i belive you got that lore from one of the shadow of... games, this games are lore destroyer and added\removed things from the lore to get the sweet sweet money.
i dont see gondor watching gladiator fights or doing anything else in an arena for "entertainment". if you wish to try and say that "they used it to train their soldiers" than normal training ground outside the city will do better for it will take less space inside the city and allow them to do more stuff (long range archery, test siege weapons, etc').

I mad up the: "The gondorians had an arena for entertainment. The orcs used it to show who is the strongest orc with a 1v1 fight to the death." part. But the gondorians would like to watch people fighting just like the romans did. They are not elves they are men. And the other half is true lore.

The part about ithil turn into Morgul?
The one part that we all know?
The one part that I didn't say that is lore friendly?
We don't see an arena in either osgiliath or tirith so why would Morgul be different?
Just stop with the arena part, it won't work as a good part for gameplay as well.
(Idk how old are you, what your gender Is or where do you live but no one calls others sweetheart on the internet beside white knights, gays and people who are in actual love so please stop)

kids come on are you forgetting that orcs make things out of wood? a ruined house could be converted into an arena easily wtf is the point of this discussion. the background doesn’t matter. it’s jsut a fact that orcs have warg pits/arenas lol. minas ithil has been destroyed for years

thats why it does matter, if men built the arena it should be made out of stone and if orcs built it it should be made out of wood and maybe ruin the original build.

you could use 9121890 's morgul

Tim's excuse is that it's "too messy" when it's not, the roads are simple and ruins are on the sides, I doubt he even walked through it lol
Also, even if it's messy on some parts, it's easily fixable. I think he just looks for an excuse not to use it x)

I have walked through it, and it's still too messy. New players will 100% get lost in it, unlike the current morgul where all the paths are obvious and there are no overdetailed things everywhere to distract the players and cause fps lag.

A few days ago i helped 2 lost players get to first then second flag. They were lost 2 times.

Talk about fucking osgiliath, lol and like I said, thats easily fixed.

Well, to avoid confusion you could always make the main road obvious, by placing a special, rather distinct block on part of it, like if it was the main road into the tower, or the Lord's road. Or just a ton of signs. And ya, Osgiliath would be much more confusing than that Minas Ithil/Morgul map. The design/map of Minas Morgul on Shadow Of War also is pretty cool tbh.

the current morgul is confusing and new players will probably get lost at any map (beside helms deep).
this is why i suggested for a few times an overall tutorial and map specific tutorial (that shows the way and expain about class' maybe even allow players to test donator classes) or allow an command /showway which will show a line of particle from flag to flag to allow new players to stay on the path (maybe diffrent particles for diffrent pathes)
