i have a good idea for minas tirith :)
you should add catapults (tnt cannons) (or something else) to make the battle more fun :)

just tnt cannons and you hav catapulters (people who refill it by getting 4 tnt from the chest to arm it :) 3 to shoot 1 that will be shot

i like it, but we already had this idea AGES ago in the 'Gondor and Mordor Catapulters' thread. i cant be bothered to giv the link.

Catapults?

You mean choas causing things, which led to Gondor defending outside the walls, Mordor derping around, and 8 kills with 1 shot?

No no no no no. No.

They were removed for a reason; Look it up on the Catapult idea thread.

We want catapults, but they'd be like mages shoot enderpearls, but with fused tnt blocks.
I'd have to have a look at this, and with a cooldown I could easally make it non-OP.
Though, it would be possible to use this against your own team. (I could disable that, but that'd remove the risks of shooting at people fighting your team and make it more OP)

What is wrong with the catapults that threw out exploding slime mobs?

Of around a 10% chance, the slimes survived and fought Gondor soldiers. When gondor killed the slime, they made an impact after all and killed all soldiers in radius.

Don't you know?

To start, 1 slime, 20 kills. I liked that, but a bit OP. You aimed right, and you just got a lot of points. The real problem was, that everybody could manage the signs. So everybody was just clicking on them to set coordinates, and shouting at each other which was the best coordinate to fire to, etc. Most of the slimes just hit nothing because of that. A huge chaos.

But what did Gondor realize? A lot of free kills at the catapults, as most people there were focusing on the catapult or cursing at each other in the chat. So they just went down to kill them, which resulted into barely defended flag which Mordor could take without any problems, and the Main gate captured in a few minutes.

Wait... use a passive mob maybe? Cows have been used as ammunition before.

Yeah, xD. Me and lem117 once took over a catapult as Commanders and held it for 5 minutes. The reason we died is because we ran out of steak and couldn't regenerate health.

I think they should be destroyable by Mordor constructors, and cant be rebuilt. A bit like repairing a gate, constructor could maybe repeatedly right click a chest with something (maybe TNT) until its full then the catapult dies. How about the cataput shoots one TNT, that deals splash damage (obvioulsy not on terrain) with about 5-10 blocks radius. Doesn't insta-kill people on full health, maybe weakens health by 50%
