Minas Tirith is unfair

Hello,

I have noticed on the map Minas Tirith that mordor almost always win. They have far better classes than Gondor - e.g troll, harad archer etc. Constructors are useless - 1 mage on the team and your wood will be gone. The last flag is also very unfair - once they get to the tree with a troll or harad archer, you can do nothing. Gates after the main gate have such low health they are destroyed within seconds to a minute. Additionally, people always go on mordor because they know they will win, and thus mordor always has at least 2 extra players.

I think gondor needs some kind of class buff - anything, really. I hope you at least take this into consideration and don't insta-deny it.
 
The problem with tirith is the new spawns which were placed in a few months back. Mordor spawn is so close that it just doesn't matter if you kill them or not anymore. Imo the spawns should be put back to the original server locations and it should fix the team balancing issues on the map.

I'll move the spawns back when I can, and also I might add a gate before last flag.
I'll also increase gate health.
This should make it more like a siege.

Nerf the 5th and 6th to 50 health
 
Adding gate health just makes the map more tedious instead of making it more fair in favour of gondor. Nobody wants to spend twice as long to bash the same gate over and over. You're not really making it fair, just making the 'battle' drag on. If you're gonna increase gate health, do it in such a way where Gondor can still attack Mordor instead of just occasionally shooting arrows from the walls.

Well tbh we are waiting for the good ol' huge ram (whatever its name was) at the main gate.


I'd also like to mention that in many places archers can go to another level and fire down at gondor on the flag, making it even harder to defend.

if mordor is flanking gondor that is gondor's problem. the map is designed so that it is hard to get to the next level. it is far easier for gondor to take the high ground, so if mordor does it then gondor is doing something very wrong

Mordor literally just runs past through the gate when gondor isn't looking and runs up above, and Gondor can't catch them.
 
yes they do, a smart team will have a cons that will build a wall to prevent them from doing so.
even tho i agree that between each level there should be a barrier to stop mordor from passing through
 
Backlining is a good tactic Mordor can do to harass Gondor players via kits like harad archer. I don't see a problem with this, this is an example of smart play and teamwork which empire war needs MORE of. I don't get what is wrong with using smart tactics to win a game, its a hell of alot more interesting than a big mosh pit at the flag point.

If you want to prevent Mordor from backlining, then you can take it upon yourself to defend the point they run up to get to your backline. If they do manage to get up, then run up and kill them, or if they are defending the route to them with a ranged kit, then choose a ranged kit yourself and take them out.
 
but its over riku, they got the high ground (and we dont have p2w classes with 8 blocks jump)

riku, ty for reiterating.
ass, mage doesn't fire enough or do enough damage to be viable to hit from behind. so yes its over if they have the high ground but the only classes that can make use of it are regular and harad archer, and therefore gondor has ithilien soldier with jumpboost to seek them down. if mordor flanks its literally gondors fault and problem
 
Are you shitting me? Flanking wizard can burn the wood that blocks the gates and by so can deal more damage than archers

are you shitting me. flanking wizard 1. is a donor class so u should get a donor to deal with that if ur physically incapable of doing so, 2. that's your problem, wizard is meant to flank because wizard is easy to kill in a 1v1. 3. archer outdamages wizard - wizard's cooldown is really slow whilst an archer can fire another arrow pretty quick. also not to mention the ability to reflect fireballs, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say u probably don't know how to reflect fireballs, but they are easy to reflect just about everyone knows how to. and if the wizard is fireballing from afar, then its wildly inaccurate. a flanking mage is no more than an annoyance. easily killable, and doesn't do much
