overloaded server

well as all of you knwo the server is overloaded with people, and vonoxNL just said that he and his 100K subs friend will go record somewhere in the future. i think its time to upgrade the server to 200 slots. for 2 reasons:
1: the server is very laggy because of the amount of players
2. the server hmostly has 70+ players

Lol, I'm not going to do that.
If the server is full, people will join LMS & LS, or donate to get in Siege.
Full server = Money = Server stays alive
We may upgrade if it stays this full for longer, but atm we'll definitely keep it like that.

It's not really server lag, mostly client lag caused by so many visible players, which we can't fix.
 
Actually, upgrading to 200 slots is a terrible idea. A good part of the people who joined because of Vonox might just leave, so you would've upgraded for nothing. Also, the server would cost more. I don't think we could permit that ;P
 
i guess after the video of HGP (100K subs) the server will have 100 people online always :3
 
They had the same problem on another capture the flag server.
The owner installed a plugin that gives you the command /viewdist.

/viewdist 30 would mean that you can only see the players within 30 blocks of you.
This helps a lot of computers to stop crashing.
 
Could help on erebor, moria, and possibly isengard (also could get rid of the spawnkill of archers on ents), but it wouldn't be any good on tirith, morgul, moria gold, where all the players are at the same place.

Not really. We only have 100 players temporary. I'm pretty sure that it will drop again, because not all of those players are going to be here every day.[/quote]
I think most will stay, definitely after HetGamePortaal makes a video (105k subs), they'll post it tomorrow.
I love this tbh, a full server means people donate to get a reserved slot, and means we no longer have the problem of a lack of money. Also, we just got a new hub and people who try to join a full server get tpd there.
 
True, it is amazing that we are getting this many players, but then, the lag.... :( I like the thing that Mark said.
 
Dont remove it, archers who cant arrowspam are good archers. Nooby archers need arrowspam. Dont be a noob mark :P
 
but still, its not the players who are lagging,crashing. no its the whole server, yester 2 of the 5 major lag spike made more then half of the people leave :3

and mark i can hold of a troll without arrowspamming by just good aiming, so whats the difference?
