Player Render Distance

I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS A BUG OR INTENTIONAL

Basically I, and quite a few other players (everyone?) can no longer see players a certain distance away. I heard this is a server side decision, but IDK if it is a bug.

Basically this is stupid because any long distance combat is now defunct.
I attach some pictures of where people should be, but aren't.

I cant see them either at longer distance, And if everyone has it its a server-sided issue. Intentional or a Bug idk
