nerf spear armor cuz its too versatile, but only slightly, so iron chest leather pant boot or chain chest leather or chain pant iron boot?

Why?
Currently spearman equal to soldier with his damage and armour but he has bonus of spear which deals 4 hearts.
That's an unfair bonus due to the fact that the spearman got no nerfs
(He also can eat and Regen faster)

These statements you made are not Facts at all. This is not how it works, this is not how Any of this works.
 
it has less armour than soldier, the spear actually needs to HIT the target in order to win a battle for an regular player. Meaning that if they do not hit the target, they will have to beat them with difficult odds. Etc Etc, stuff.
 
Agree with Gunda here. Whilst I can see the possibility of the spear damage being reduced (so there is a contrast with Crossbow), there is no other issue.
 
Don't reduce spearman dmg, just make the spear cost 1 more hunger so spearman can't machine gun spears. Spearman is the best melee class atm tho, it has burst, ranged pressure and good armor. Not to mention it outtrades soldier massively if it hits spear which isn't hard to do mid-combo. Making spear cost more hunger adds a risk element to using the spear, so you can't get it back mid fight with a melee punishing you for making a mistake.
