Yes he was elected war chief after he lead a group of trolls and overthrew the previous war chief.
For me my homeland is the Gilneas Valley in the Misty Mountains, though I lived most of my life in Gondor.

Role: slayer of trolls (that means electric_ice) jk paladin.
Backstory: a yong half elf half named andrew 40 years to be exact that worked in a mine and used the matrial he mined to forge armor and tools and weapons in his blacksmith shop
to suply the wars with weapons and armor but he decided that his life needed something else then just this so he made him self some basic steal armor and a sword
and sold his blacksmith shop and headed out to seak adventure he found a great paladin and asked to be his student and the great paladin pallord was his name showed him the
ways of the paladin and how to do stuff justly and after his mentor died at the age of 60 for he was a old paladin.
he set out in the name of pallord bringing justice to all evil
