Team Balance needs to change

Im so tried of the Orcs having more players then the Dwarfs do. Theres less of a challenge and quite franky unfair.
I want Tim to change how Team balancing works in general to make the rounds more fair for players such as me.
Because its unfair when half the time the attacking team has 10 times more players then us.
 
This is because at the time when the teams were balanced, your team-mates started leaving the server and nobody joined, when orcs didn't leave the server, so it isn't anything of the code fault, just players leaving. The ratio is good as it is now.

This happens time to times and you cannot do anything about it, it's just people leaving. Also if that happened once on Erebor, doesn't mean that it's badly balanced. A stronger argument would be if it happened most of the time or atleast often.

What Lime said is correct. On some maps we could consider changing the ratios though, based on the players online at the time.
 
I can understand when there is like 4 v 1, but teams should not be exactly even, especially not on maps like laketown and osgiliath.
 
Perhaps team ratios should change depending on number of players on.

Made that suggestion long ago and you all just ignored that.
Anyways yes I do support that idea.
 
Uhh... I'm pretty sure the ratios already change depending on players online. Maybe it just needs a review and some minor changes.
 
true, when there are less than 10 players the defenders can have more players (5 defenders vs 4 and on some maps even 5v3)
 
The reason is that you can’t possibly balance teams with a low amount of people on. When there are 8 on, one team switch can change it from 4v4 to 3v5. And we don’t want to force people into teams, nobody likes that.

The best way to solve this is simply making sure we always have more than 10 online. With the server growth, this might definitely become less of an issue.
