The Battle of the Five Armies trailer

Hence the title, "The Battle of the Five Armies" :P But in an interview one of the WETA Digital guys said that TDOS was all about Smaug's personality and this was about him being an unstoppable killing machine.

Yup, but Smaug's not the one who kills most in this movie.

The Siege of Dol Guldur happened during the Battle of Pelennor Fields in Mirkwood, this was just a stealth attack to save Gandalf, because all troops were heading north anyways.
