The battle of the Pelenor fields?!

Hai guys!,

Yesterday evening I was thinking (together with RogueLightYT) about a new map for the EW server. I don't know if some admins or so can help me with the idea :)
This is my plan:
The battle of the Pelenor Fields. This battle is looks like the battle of Laketown for example. Its a fight on the big field between the good side (Rohan and later on in the battle the goshtarmy) and the bad side (Haradrim and the Mordor orcs). Its important to know that the battle isn't a castle siege! Both teams have to capture all the spawn points.
What can you expect from the classes?:

Mordor/Harad: Point class: Mumakill rider
-Harad archer -10 steak
-Orc soldier -Leather/iron armor
-Harad spearman -quick draw speed bow
-Orc archer -iron sword

Rohan/Ghosts: Points class: Ghost warrior:
-Rohan soldier -10 steak
-Rohan Archer -Leather armor
-Rohan Spearman -Swiftness
-Ghost -Enchanted iron sword

I will attach a file with a map of the battlefield. This is some further info about the map:

1:The town lands:
Spawn point of the good side
Fields filled with ruins of ancient times.

2:The North gate:
Spawn point of the good side
The horses of the Rohirrim will ride again!

3:The Gauseway forts
Spawn point of the good side
An ancient fort of the soldiers of Gondor. Destroyed by the orcs during the Great War and left abandoned after the Rohirrim arrived

4: The South Gate
Spawn point of the good side (During the battle, Ghosts can spawn here)
Ships are coming!

5: Mumakill fields
Spawn point of the bad side
A small camp for the Haradrim, made by southpeople and orcs.

6.Far Pelenor
Spawn point of the bad side
Meat will be back on menu soon! (A quote from a hungry orc ;P)

Back n EW v.1 we already had this map, but it got removed due to the dislike of that map. Now back a few months ago tim clearly explained that Pelenor fields isn't going to be added. You an read all this plagiarizations below explaining the ame thing that me so they thibk they re useful but the question was already answered lol.

The old pelenor fields man was a slaughter fiels with no clear goal. Since I see clear cap points I think this idea has great potential.
 
I dind't know that the map already excised. :) But maybe we can make it much better than before.
Add some great buildings and scenery, with clear spawn points.
 
Your class lists are very confusing. I am assuming you mean to do it like this:
Mumakill rider(Point): 10 steak, Leather+Iron armor, quick draw speed bow, iron sword
Harad archer
Harad spearman
Orc swordsman
Orc archer

Ghost warrior(Point): 10 steak, Leather armor, swiftness, iron sword
Rohan swordsman
Rohan spearman
Rohan archer

Anyways, I think classes need reworking and more detail (Specific armor/dmg levels? Armor colors? Cost? Maybe ghost has invisiblity but armor so they look like ghosts?)

Map layout looks great.

My suggestions:
-Catapults/barriers/catapul ammo carts/destroyed siege towers/dead mumakil to make the build varied and not just flat grass for the middle section
-Lossarnach axeman as voter class for Rohan (Gondor reinforcements)
-Easterling swordsman as voter class for Mordor
-Definitely add Rohan rider as the donor class
-Perhaps add new Orc donor class like Morgul Uruk (tanky, replaces troll's spot)?
 
This Suggestions are very nice man! With your ideas of the classes and the scenery, I think this map has great potential. The battle of the Pelenor fields can give the player a different feeling than other maps. Its more like a real battlefield. And I think that we can make this map awesome! So, feel free to give more ideas ;)
 
If we get a map download we could consider adding it after further review. But we won't be building a new map anytime soon.
 
Map seems simple enough. It could be worked off the current Minas Tirith. Mumakil could be copy pasted from Tim's siege engine world thing.
 
while Pelenor fields was a map it took the siege out of the game and made it more of a troll spawn killing skirmish.
this map will be different, i am willing to help build - and i believe if barriers/catapults/dead mumakil/that gondor village is added then it will take away the part of the "flat" factor of the map making it more diverse and a more siege playstyle can be achieved (especially with the flag positioning). I'll also add troll is not on this map as well as any super OP classes, it's mostly the regular classes with a few unique ones like harad archer or maybe rohan cav.
 
We could have the main focus of the evil classes be all the less known ones such as Easterlings, Umbarians, Haradrim, etc rather than the orcs to remove troll as a class (Could also do things like replace regular Archer and Spearman with the Haradrim counterparts and make different voter/point classes?).

Maybe have the good team attack and start with the one flag for the Rohirrim before spreading out across the Pelennor. Have the docks/south gate open up as a flag sometime later in the battle, much like the bridge on Osgiliath, with the ghosts entering from there.

Another idea is to have the courtyard of Minas Tirith as a flag with the gate busted open as a final flag for the Good team to capture once all others are captured. Might be a final part of the map similar to the ending of Helm's Deep in V1, but with an objective rather than all out killing. This could be problematic though as barriers would need to be put up to stop people going too far into Tirith as well as needing to teleport everyone to the specific area.
 
If I am not wrong the army of ghosts was only used to destroy the reinforce of umbar, than the trio and some rangers of the north sailed on the boats they stole from umbar to help Rohan.
 
New update:New update: We are making a prototype of the map! Just build some things and make a great battle (EW worhty ;)). When the prototype build is finished, you guys get a cinematic trailer. So, stay tuned...!
