The rp only thread

2997 TA Carn dum Dimitri And his small army has besieged the fortress. It seems like a foolish move, attacking the fort with a few hundred men. But this is no ordinary army. This is the second paladins regiment, feared by its enemies for its sharp blade and massive shields. Dimitri ecieves word from beepbobit that he couldn't make it to the council so he gather his forces and head west from Gundabad. On the way to the grey havens, he spots a dark shadow pass over Carn Dum. The ancient fortress becomes much more intimating and dark. He changes course and begins the siege. A few hours latter a massive horde of goblins and trolls sally forth from the main gate. Dimitri sends a hawk to each of his allies requesting for their aid in the siege of Carn Dum.

Please note this is my first "story".
 
As Beastius of Mirkwood waits at the Grey Havens he has a bad feeling that this council will affect the fate of Middle Earth
 
Levi open the letter and when he finished reading shouted "WE HEAD NORTH TO SAVE CARN DUM!, PREPARE MY MEN, PREPARE!".
 
Beepbobit sits in his study. He sighs "why does Dimitri always want to go kill people. I mean cmon! How can such a small army really do anything? I hope someone goes to help him" Then he goes back to his writing
 
*From the shadows behind the lines of the paladins a young man in a grey cloak and hardened leather armor stands. In his hand is a longbow, by his side hangs a long one-handed blade with a basket hilt and several daggers. Adorning his back is a leather quiver of bodkin arrows. His hand moves swiftly and nocks an arrow to the string of his bow, as he raises to take aim he mutters a short flurry of words in a strange speech. The arrow flies fast over the rear lines of the paladins and embeds itself in the back of one of the men on the forward lines neck. After he has made his shot the figure turns and heads off into the murky shadows. Leaving the paladins to be crushed by the shear numbers of Goblins and Trolls.*

((OOC NOTE: A bodkin arrow is one with a specially designed head, made for piercing plate, chain, and other metal armors. And yes demitri giving your entire already OP regiment mithril armor would be unrealistic and Over Powered.))
 
Alas, allies arrive for an army of dwarves has arrived from the Iron Hills, lord Agorin II Ironfoot has arrived with an army of 600 Ironbeards, the armies gather and prepare to release their full strength on the fortress Carn Dum.
 
*As darkness falls the night after the dwarves arrival the sharp twang of bowstrings is heard and several clouds of bodkin arrows rain in from the rear and sides of the besiegers. By the time the paladins and dwarves can mobilize their heavily armored men the archers are gone. The only hint that they were there in the first place is the arrows embedded into the ground, tent supports, and no less then a two dozen dwarves and paladins. Should the paladins search by daylight they may find some better clues.*

((OOC: Bro, you complain about Dimitri making himself OP, but you have arrows that somehow "1shot" an entire f*cking army of full armored people? Now thats bull cr*ap. Anyways))
Back in Minas Tirith, Beepbobit observes that the men of gondor are in fact not making any move to assault Carn Dum. They would have needed orders from King Sjoerdtim himself
 
*Kordian The Great stands in front of His small army of legendary Ithilien rangers. He shouts out orders
and Says that the Ithilien rangers must be ready to move out by the rise of the sun tommorow.
He also takes up his personal bow and prepares his hardened leather armor to be ready by tommorow
He oversees the work of his ithilien rangers preparing their belongings, armor, bows, and swords.
*One night later at sunrise*
Kordian Wakes up and Prepares his Ithilien rangers. He takes up his armor, bow, and jumps on his horse.
The Ithilien Rangers are coming to aid the siege of Carn Dum.
Yet all the ithilien ranges shall not come for some must stay back to defend Ithilien.

((OOC: Hardened leather armor is not very strong, as it may stop a few sword hits, It is very light
and Is good for dodging attacks, A powerful arrow shot may not kill the wearer of the armor
yet it will knock him back onto the ground))
 
((OOC: Not even doing this, but both Dimitri and Kordian have broken the rule... Already...
Both making themselves leaders of both very OP armies. And I know Kordian will say, "My armour is only leather", that's what all Ithilien Rangers wore, but you somehow make yourself the leader instantly... It's really stupid...
 
The bridge leading to the massive gate of Carn Dum is littered with the bodies of goblins, trolls, paladins and dwarves. Dimitri orders shields to be deployed to assist in the defense of the main camp. He recieves word that the rangers of ithilien are marching north and finds a series of trails heading towards the eastern side of Carn Dum. Footprints of men along with a single arrow point to the lich and his men. He places a single stone on each of the path.
 
A few horses are seen on the hill away from the battle, then behind a whole army of Ilthiliens ready to charge.
Levi shouts: ILTHILIEN..... CHARGE!
 
Dimitri stops the unnecessary charge and tells Levi to send riders to the grey havens and gondor. Right when he returns the gates open and a army of uruk hai start to march over the bridge. The paladins get out their crossbows and begin to fire into the front of the army. Dimitri tells levi to put his archers behind the paladins and to fire at will. Gondor and the elves must march to the aid of the paladins or the world shall burn.

Levi get southern ithilen. Kordian gets north

Dimitri: Citadel
