Working on a Helm's Deep Project (Based on the Books and LOTRO)

Hello all, Dav here, and I'm pleased to announce that I am working on a custom version of EpicQuestz Helm's Deep map. So I was watching LOTRO Epic Battles Helm's Deep Gameplay when I thought it would be cool to recreate it in Minecraft, and so now, I am attempting to do so. The things I am Building are Siege Weapons for Rohan and the Uruks, I'll also be adding Helm's Dike, and other cool features. If I decide to upload the map I will give full credit to EpicQuestz, The Project is nearly complete, Screenshots will be uploaded when It is complete if there are requests. Also, I plan to recreate the actual battle for a video series on YouTube very soon. So yeah that's about it guys, if you would like to see screenshots of the map, please let me know, thanks for reading and have a nice day

I think I'll upload on Minecraft Forum, Full Credit will absolutely be given as it is most certainly deserved, I'm almost done with the project actually, I only have to make Helm's Dike, I added 2 Catapult Towers to the Deeping Wall, a ballista and a Rock Dropper to the Fortress and 3 Catapults outside the Deeping Wall. I also did the siege ladders slightly differently, they are completely straight, and made of Dark Oak wood. I'm surprised I was able to do 2 Catapult Towers in just few minutes with WorldEdit, and it looks great. I'll upload some screenshots if you'd like to have a look, It really does look great. I also added a couple Barricades in the Glittering Caves, so yeah, If you want to have a look, let me know man.

but yea glad your doing this. we could make one of those one thread with 100 pages of sjoerdtim do dis and maybe he will include your stuff on siege. jk but it would be cool to see helms deep with a catapult.

I think tibbles is a bit jealous that he didn't come up with seige weapons first. O_O

Most of the additions are complete, all that must be added now is Helm's Dike, and maybe some large Siege Crossbows on the fortress and for the Uruks, and Possibly a Catapult tower on the Fortress. Good thing I got World Edit Wrapper and CUI as mods, very helpful those.

Good idea, but giving credit doesn't seem to work with PMC. I've tried giving literally pretty much all credit to someone I know by using the head of a skin that he made, and they still removed it.

I know, I wouldn't mind it, but it's against the PMC rules. (Mainly because then you'd post 5 slightly different projects and link all to the main one and get 5x as much attention, which isn't fair.)

Alright I never actually said I would attempt uploading on PMC, I barely use PMC as it is, I only use it to vote for servers. And as for the progress on the build, I've at least began constructing Helm's Dike, It's quite small at the moment, but hey, Building Stone hills and Copying and Pasting them ain't as easy as Killing Orcs lol, and plus I still have to build the statue of Helm Hammerhand at the Dike. There are not many screenshots I'm easily able to find so I am sort of improvising. But with my hard work on building this map I estimate it could be finished on Monday or Sunday even, Screenshots will be posted by then or possibly after.
